Happy IWD everybody

Is that why the Mumsnet M has changed to purple and green or has it always been like that?

Was going to start a new thread just to ask but thought I'd search it first and found this thread...

JustHereWithMyPopcorn · 08/03/2022 11:07

Happy IWD to you all!

RoseslnTheHospital · 08/03/2022 11:07

It's great to see so many websites highlighting stories about women, but it always disappoints me that, come tomorrow, it will be back to business as usual.

DomesticatedZombie · 08/03/2022 11:04

Ah, I did wonder how many posts before someone came along to bring up the menz.

DisgustedofManchester · 08/03/2022 11:02

Its a national holiday in 27 countries as well, mainly ex soviet republics. More likely that International Men's Day is made a holiday in England though maybe Scotland and Wales would add it.

BlackeyedSusan · 08/03/2022 10:43

thought my eyes were a bit wonky... glad you lot are seeing it too..

DomesticatedZombie · 08/03/2022 10:40

@Plasmodesmata

Happy International Women's Day. Have you noticed the colours of the Mumsnet logo today?
I had not. Nice one, MNHQ.
Monitaurus · 08/03/2022 10:34

IWD is a protest, not a party. However strength to all of the vipers here.

FoxyFoxyLoxy · 08/03/2022 10:34

I've just seen someone on FB posting pics of her daughters with a blurb about raising women and the hashtag #supportyoursistersnotjustyourcisters. Hmm x 1000.

Happy International Women's Day to all the other human adult females out there.

Igmum · 08/03/2022 10:27

Happy IWD you wonderful wimmin of Mumsnet, more vipers please ThanksGin

nauticant · 08/03/2022 10:27

Emma Barnett was just currently holding Anneliese Dodds' feet to the fire with "what is a woman?" in the section of Woman's Hour talking to politicians about IWD. Dodds was unable to answer the question beyond "well, it depends...".
