in 5 minutes!

A reminder!

Feminists, please attend - and please vote the motion to 'purge' women who've signed the women's rights declaration Out of Order.

This needs feeding back

Rightsraptor · 05/03/2022 11:26

Losing the will to live, again.

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 11:25

Rights: There's a flowchart ... I am confused.

@ColourMagic

Just had an email from Louisa (Conference manager) - I had asked for my vote from last night to be counted as I cant get through the process for voting again (due to cognitive and visual impairments):

'I have forwarded your email to SOC for a decision on whether or not they will accept votes submitted by email in this way.

If they don't then we can look at proxies (giving your vote to someone else to exercise for you), which we will be able to organise from our end.'

.

I very much hope they do this as for a party claiming to be inclusive, to exclude you for your disabilities will be v shit.

Losing the will to live here ...

Then amendments 4&5: am I voting for?

AlsoNotAGirl · 05/03/2022 11:11

40mins in and still no actual vote. This is real amateur hour Shock

Articus · 05/03/2022 10:58

Good luck! So disappointed with a green Party

Rightsraptor · 05/03/2022 10:52

Well they can't keep me away! I'm there, voting finger twitching.

ColourMagic · 05/03/2022 10:48

The SOC said NO to email votes from those who cannot attend to vote today but who did vote yesterday. Surprise surprise

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 10:45

@Rightsraptor

Is the vote at 10.30? Now? I can't see anything happening
I'm here and ready to be purged ...

It was stated that if a person cannot attend this morning, to email a specific person and ask that my vote from last night be counted (stating what the vote was). I did that and just have got an automated reply.

I am not in the least bit confident my vote will be counted. I risked my health (also cognitive and visual impairments) to attend some workshops and the plenary last night and am just not able to do it again this morning.

Livelifeinthebuslane · 05/03/2022 07:21

I've given a proxy.

Hopefully the debate is waking people up to how bad this has all got.

WarriorN · 05/03/2022 06:48

I might be wrong but I think proxies had to be in last week?

If people can't get in to vote on important votes we really should be complaining ASAP.

Feministwoman · 05/03/2022 01:43

You can try.
It all seems very fishy to me, tbh

DomesticatedZombie · 04/03/2022 23:11

@Rightsraptor

That UA in my last post was supposed to be the Ukrainian flag. No idea why it came out like that.

I don't know anyone to vote by proxy for me. I am so suspicious of the GP when I couldn't vote I was thinking they'd looked at my votes so far and decided to block me. Not so though.

I was losing the will to live this evening. Hope they crack on tomorrow.

If you can't attend tomorrow to vote - you could consider emailing to say so and ask that your vote from tonight be counted. [email protected]

Feministwoman · 04/03/2022 22:51

Proxy votes are only used if the voting is close and a card vote is called. Better to use your vote live (if you can)
Although, I couldn't get in at all tonight. V angry.
Most odd

@Ereshkigalangcleg

And that the following motion was allowed to be debated.

And voted on.

Yep. Bit odd, eh?

@2Rebecca

Really hope GPEW don't follow the SGP in purging women who believe in biology. Transwomen shouldn't be harrassed but sex matters
I'm afraid it looked a distinct possibility.

Another vote tomorrow morning at 10.30 am; any feminists who are able to vote or give a proxy!

what a nightmare
curious how the voting all seemed straightforward until the purging motion was discussed....

And that the following motion was allowed to be debated.
