in 5 minutes!

A reminder!

Feminists, please attend - and please vote the motion to 'purge' women who've signed the women's rights declaration Out of Order.

Vote for amendments 4&5 when we can then. About an hour's time at this rate.

Signalbox · 05/03/2022 12:24

Vote "FOR"

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:24

@AlisonDonut

What is this Mickey Mouse nonsense?

If they can't even arrange a vote in their own party, how would they ever expect to run a country?

They are obviously trying all the tricks in the book to block people from voting...and are getting subscriptions from people for this?

It is a fucking farce.

I partly agree, altho the GP is about putting pressure on govt - a form of opposition

vote for Amendment four and five

This all sounds like a nightmare and not terribly democratic.

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:17

Vote on Amendment three - AGAINST

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:13

Dismissive of various points on the feminists' side, supportive of those against them. It seems. I don't know much on the subject.

OP posts:
DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:12

It seems perhaps not

Not that impartiality exists here. You have to pick a side

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 12:07

Is the chair impartial?

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 12:06

@2Rebecca

It is the same tactic the Scottish Green Party used. They had an emergency motion about expelling women who didn't believe in gender ideology so were deemed transphobic. It's a way of avoiding proper democratic debate on the issue. Motions on gender issues at the BMA ARM also get last minute pro trans amendments. Everything must be last minute and rushed
yep

Also parents who voted last night but have child activities this morning are missing out as well

This is me

Vote of no confidence in chair now

It is mad that status quo does not mean ignoring an unnecessary emergency motion and existing policy stands

ColourMagic · 05/03/2022 11:56

@WarriorN
have received a message that the SOC says people who voted last night and who want their vote counted today if they cant attend - their email votes (to count their vote from last night) will not be counted.

I am in online for voting today but am pretty much in relapse now and looking to be flattened/out of action for the next few days or week.

Also parents who voted last night but have child activities this morning are missing out as well

Ereshkigalangcleg · 05/03/2022 11:53

Against amendment three, that fails and then amendment 4/5 are voted on and if they prevail status quo does not

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 11:48

I see that you do need to vote against amendment 3

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 11:47

Or if amendment 3 passes does the motion still get debated? It's clear as mud

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 11:46

Looking at the flowchart if amendment 3 falls the motion falls and the status quo prevails. It's not clear to someone not in the GP how amendments 3 and 4 are different

Signalbox · 05/03/2022 11:41

No you need to vote "against" amendment 3. The vote hasn't happened yet. Tech issues.

2Rebecca · 05/03/2022 11:38

As in the vote has gone against? It looked like women should vote for amendment 3 as it is out of order to move discussion on from the flowchart on twitter

DomesticatedZombie · 05/03/2022 11:34

vote against

Vote against for amendment 3

So slow!
