Name changed as outing.
I've just posted on my medical profession's closed FB group in support of an OP questioning the appropriateness of our professional body being a member of SW diversity scheme.
Cue pile-on by many talking all the usual talk - TWAW etc.
Thread deleted by admin as they agreed with reporters.
I'm really rattled - these are scientists denying scientific reality.
Just having a vent, really.

Just to be clear, before anyone injures themselves, I’m a vet, not a medic.
Up to now, I’ve found my profession a pragmatic and realistic bunch. I’m nearing retirement and I guess this shows how out of touch I am!

Completely understand you being disturbed and needing to vent OP.

I am at a particularly low ebb because the reality-denying woke wankery DARVO seems to have hit a high waterline in my industry at the moment. But that's arts-related, and not medicine ffs.

Sometimes I'm hopeful. Sometimes I truly think we're all doomed.

I'm not surprised you're disturbed. Solidarity. I can only assume a lot of people have spent no time thinking about this at all and have swallowed wholesale the idea that TWAWTMAMNBPAV etc etc is an extension of gay rights, which they would (rightly, obviously) have no problem with.

Crikey, they are medicos? God help an actual transwomen or transmen who seek treatment for the side effects of all the messing about with their bodies. "oh no, that can't be happening - you're an actual woman [or man], donchaknow?"
