The wonderful Kate Grimes expressed interest in a non-exec position at the Tavi this year and was told to not waste her time as she holds gender critical beliefs. Peter Daly has been employed. Wow!

And don't worry. Your 'dropping off' is another textbook tactic.

We know it well.

When asked to back up extremist assertions, extremist trans rights activists resort to copious personal attacks and then they 'drop off'.

Thanks again for the live demonstration.

MrsWooster · 01/03/2022 17:12

Sorry, EmbarrassingHadrosaurus, are you trying to imply the world DOESN’T exist on the back of a turtle (and 🐘 s)??

Helleofabore · 01/03/2022 17:11

Oh.... well... we have left many of your posts up for the sake of the lurkers.

MrsWooster · 01/03/2022 17:09

"Woman" is a socially constructed gender identity. Usually comes with feminine terms, names, pronouns. There, that's the definition, there's even an automated bot on Twitter to provide this information on demand. But it's totally that you've "never heard the definition", and not that you deliberately plug your ears whenever you do

Well, that’s me convinced. I’m hanging up my GC apron as we speak.

Lekisa658 · 01/03/2022 17:09

Anyway, I've wasted more than enough of time here, and honestly, I'm surprised my account lasted as long as it has.

So I'll be dropping off.

I thought a woman was at the very least a human. You're saying a woman is a label, an abstract thing? Again, how would I discover if I am the "identity" that is woman?

That's such a poor definition i feel genuine embarrassment for you.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 01/03/2022 17:09

automated bot on Twitter to provide this information on demand.

I believe those unsophisticated bots with no consciousness or awareness of what they distribute around Twitter would as happily assert that the world exists on the back of a turtle and that thunderstorms indicate the wrath of [insert your own favoured mythology] dieties.

Nobody is denying that immersive fictions are powerful or that bots can be programmed to scatter them around conversations on various platforms.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/03/2022 17:09

Yes, a TRA wrote it Grin so it's hardly objective.

SunniDelite · 01/03/2022 17:07

Ooh, Weetabix! I haven't had that for ages- just milk and a sprinkle of brown sugar. A favourite of my Mum , who was 100% female, like everyone's mum.....

SamphiretheStickerist · 01/03/2022 17:05

Woman... I can hardly express...

SamphiretheStickerist · 01/03/2022 17:04

@Ereshkigalangcleg

If you actually understood what pigeon chess is you would have phrased that quite differently.

They're just repeating what someone else said to them, I think on another thread. Even though it doesn't really make sense that way. Not much original thought, but quite typical.

I have given myself an earworm with the 'your thoughts are in a whirl' comment.

Bloody Bowie, gets everywhere!

Lekisa658 · 01/03/2022 17:03

@bishophaha

I repeat my previous point Grin

They never can!! They suddenly 'don't feel like it' or 'don't believe they need to' or 'my girlfriend goes to another school'.

I'm never proven wrong on this.

And yet- we're all disgusting bigots if we don't subscribe to the definition they are unable to don't feel like providing.

And how they usually forgot to include someone actually eating the hot milk version...

... I could have cried!

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/03/2022 16:59

I remember the Weetabix 'Any-Which-Way-A-Bix' campaign with a shudder. Who spreads jam on weetabix and eats it like toast? Bleugh.

Yes, and "the Weetabix Week" where you had to have a different topping each day for a week. As if that was a thing.

EmbarrassingHadrosaurus · 01/03/2022 16:58

I'm still minded that plurality of thought and perspective is essential to posts such as those in the OP

I'm more firmly convinced of this after seeing some of the poor quality critical thinking from posters who have chosen to favour immersive fiction as a basis for healthcare. On the wider point of fairness, I'm disappointed by the perspective that feminists or people with gender critical analytical skillsets are superfluous to requirements in some service delivery settings.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/03/2022 16:58

They never can!! They suddenly 'don't feel like it' or 'don't believe they need to' or 'my girlfriend goes to another school'.

It's obvious to anyone reading that certain people don't have anything to make a reasoned case that isn't based on entitled demands and foot stamping melodrama. Not just here, any time they get put on the spot and expected to drop the slogans and mantras and name calling and make some kind of real world sense.

Helleofabore · 01/03/2022 16:55

There is a lot of information online, about signs of gender dysphoria, if you actually care to look for it in good faith.

Which we both know you don't.

And again, this is where your very entrenched prejudice is leading you to make false accusations. Quite frankly, many of us try to read widely and extensively on the issue. From original sources. We don't resort to 'safe' interpretations that are so often misrepresented.

So, your continued refusal for evidence, peer reviewed papers and statistics is merely an indication that you don't read widely, extensively and from original sources.

Nothing new here.

Lovelyricepudding · 01/03/2022 16:55

Identifying as something means you are not that thing or you would not need to identify as it.
Identifying with something means you are not that thing either.

SamphiretheStickerist · 01/03/2022 16:54

Nah, not really feeling up for it.

Oh! Do you need a lie down?

Since I know I'd be wasting my time breaking down a complex subject for nothing,

You really mean you have no idea what you have been asked, your thoughts are in a whirl, you've lost track of what it was you were asserting.

only for you to pigeon-chess it.

If you actually understood what pigeon chess is you would have phrased that quite differently.

Incorrect.

I didn't ask about gender dysphoria, as we both know. I asked how to find out if I'm a man or a woman. Didn't you realise?

Ereshkigalangcleg · 01/03/2022 16:53

There is a lot of information online, about signs of gender dysphoria

How would that tell her whether she is a woman or a man? What are the criteria?

bishophaha · 01/03/2022 16:52
