In other words, the Good Law Project is now the No Legal Standing Project. What a shame.

I'm surprised that they're not doing this.

I'm not, it would be a catalog of money squandered and cases failed, or often not brought at all- the mail seem to be missing the point that much of the specific fundraising just goes in general coffers.

There is value to some of their wins, it's not a black and white situation. It's a shame that this organisation is run by someone like JM.

A proper charity supporting others to take a few important cases a year would be a good thing.

Jolyon is also discontinuing an ongoing case against the DCMS.

A Whitehall source sets out Jolyon’s latest failure more simply:

“In short, GLP made BS claims about the Government trying to muzzle charities (it wasn’t), raised £85k in support of their spurious claim, went on a fishing exercise wasting Government time and money only to discontinue their proceedings and keep much of the cash they raised for their next politically motivated legal case (and of course pay for Jolyon’s kimonos 👘)”

I logged out to look at that too and feel v angry now. Of course, why listen to the women who know you best and care about you most, assuming there might be some mutual love and respect back. What a silly idea. Mums, wives and sisters are totally disposable. Daughters (sorry, sons) too I guess.

I thought that he had disclosed his 'interest' in trans rights.

Hasn't he spoken about it on twitter? Not from the point of view of it making him biased but talking about the 'unfairness' from his point of view?
