Twitter currently ablaze with suggestions that Adele is 'ter*y' for saying 'I love being a woman'.

Yes, I think that was Adele having a fun night doing just what Adele wants in the moment. (And regardless of any future statements she makes about the whole TWAW question. I think she's great)

How on earth could her statement be interpreted to have anything at all to do with the trans debate? I genuinely don’t understand. She’s proud of being a woman. Why not take that statement at face value?

I was actually there at the O2 (or Millennium Dome as I still prefer to call it) and the cheer from the very young crowd was huge, spontaneous and real. And it certainly seemed that Adele had taken a deep breath before saying it - best bit of the night for me!

From what I can gather, Adele was steaming and went to a nightclub. Beyond that, she may have been trying to make a point, but I'm not at all clear on what it was.

I am quite surprised that the press is making such a huge thing of it based on one thread on twitter.
Half the news nowadays is just reporting on crap people have said online. Whether it’s a ‘Twitter storm’ ie two tweets, a Mumsnet thread or the Reddit AITA page, there’s nothing too petty for them to report on.
