A woman complaining on Reddit because her girlfriends and the 8-year-old daughter of one of her girlfriends won't participate in fetishist role-play with her the transwoman she is married to.

We had a transwoman here once who freely admitted they identified as trans because they wanted to be like the 'cool girls' in Hollywood movies.

I think it's fairly common.

The other abbreviation is ESH: Everyone Sucks Here

QueenSue · 07/02/2022 08:00

I never had a pillow fight with just a girl or girls. Always boys there too. They probably instigated it.
I had the same experience, so you could say that pillow fights are actually a little boy's thing. Take note, girlhood fetishizers.

Discofish · 06/02/2022 23:49

I hope the reddit post isn't real but maybe I'm wishful thinking. Yes they are being the arsehole

Jux · 06/02/2022 23:12

My brothers and I had pillow fights. If we had friends staying overnight and we all got into sleeping bags and slept on the floor of the largest room, then occasionally we'd have a pillow fight, but I never had a pillow fight with just a girl or girls. Always boys there too. They probably instigated it. And the oldest would have been no more then 8. After that it was considered just silly.

AITA - Am I The Asshole (like Am I Being Unreasonable here)
YTA - You (are) The Asshole

Kendodd · 06/02/2022 19:28

Sorry, can someone tell me, YTA and AITA what do they mean?

@Isthatthebestyoucando

What’s with the pillow fights? I’ve seen that mentioned a few times. Is that even a specifically female thing?
It’s a specifically male “teenage girl lesbian sex fantasy” thing. Female college students having pillow fights and then falling into bed together. Grim. Like suggesting your female friends all meet up and wash some cars in white t-shirts/no bras.
DickMabutt73962 · 06/02/2022 19:16

It's from porn. It's ALWAYS from porn.

Having grown up with American cable, it's definitely a cliché in sleepovers in kids movies. The feathers would always come out as well. I remember having one and being disappointed that no feathers flew out 😂

Not everything is 'from porn'.

@HelloDulling

11 years of all-girls boarding schools, and I’ve never had a pillow fight. Worried now that I might be a man. How can I tell?
Do you like cars and football? I think that’s how you know.

I love the fact that the comments all come back YTA (new phrase for me too). I hope it's made up. If it isn't, thank heavens the mum of that 8-year old was there protecting her from being used in fetish role play.

Motorina · 06/02/2022 16:55

@Cailleach1 I'm assuming it's the American usage - 'my female friends' rather than 'my romantic partner'.

Cailleach1 · 06/02/2022 16:39

linguistIC. Mind you, I may as well 'horse'. Maybe 'horse' means whatever you want it to mean too. Linguistic = horse.

Cailleach1 · 06/02/2022 16:37

And I have no idea who the actual 'wife' (as in female spouse) is?

Blinkin' heck, it really is an exercise in linguist Ballygobackwards. Words will have lost their precision. Ug, ug = man. Ug, ug = woman.

Cailleach1 · 06/02/2022 16:31

What is the meaning of 'girlfriends' in this instance? Is it friends who are women (or girls if under 18)? Or is it a romantic sense of 'boyfriend', or 'girlfriend' -but loads of them?

CompleteGinasaur · 06/02/2022 15:32

And, to be a bit more serious about it, we'd grown out of it by about 9 or 10. Nothing for the fantasists to get excited about (unless they're actually admitting to the clearly paedophilic undertones of this nastiness).

CompleteGinasaur · 06/02/2022 15:27

(Bugger). Insert ).

CompleteGinasaur · 06/02/2022 15:26

Used to have pillow fights with my sister. Only because Mum wouldn't let me use the tennis raquet.. still amazes me we both survived, if I'm honest. Nothing giggly or soft focus slow motion about it; all-out war with goose feather bolsters (they were my Nan's old ones, those things were heavy...

SpikyHatePotato · 06/02/2022 15:19

There are some very telling comments, about how the OP's 'wife' needs to realise they are a trans woman, not a trans girl. One in particular, about how society enables men and boys and gives them everything, and that as a woman, society won't enable them in the same way, is very interesting

Anniegetyourgun76 · 06/02/2022 12:36

Has anyone on here ever actually had a pillow fight? I never have (unless trying to smother my younger brother with a pillow counts).

SevenWaystoLeave · 06/02/2022 11:30

This is highly likely to be entirely made up.

viques · 06/02/2022 03:05

Only in some people’s imaginary happy land where women wear rustly petticoats , blue eyeshadow and pointy bras.
LimeSegment · 06/02/2022 02:56

Too obvious I think. They don't make trolls like they used to, that's for sure.

SantaClawsServiette · 06/02/2022 01:42

I tried pillow fighting as a kid. It's not very fun.

If it's a real post the poster is going to have a lot of trouble on her hands.
