The only way to sort it is to actually have more of us pointing out the ridiculousness of it all.

The planet is far to precious to waste on blue hair and hormones.

It's notable that the deep green resistance does know what women are.

No I mean, she was suspended, how did she get back in? Did she appeal?

She was suspended last year and won the appeal, I believe. This is new suspension that appears to have come through today.

So person1 wins co-chair outright. Person2, who disagrees with Person1 politically, scrapes through to co-chair on the third round, then puts in a complaint about Person1 getting her suspended and effectively removing her from the post and Person2 is now effectively sole chair.
In what fucking world is that acceptable?

I know a few people have decided to leave the Green Party over this and I understand completely.
However, I'm going to stay.
Emma, Shahrar and others are being targeted so heavily now because they have been successful.
The recent Green Women elections made it very clear that TRA behaviour is not popular with grassroots members and most members know what a woman is. This is them throwing their toys out of the cot because they're not winning.
If there were another party that supported women, I might consider jumping ship, but taking back the Greens is the best chance we have for a political voice IMO.
There will be more internal Green Party elections. I want to be around to vote in them for people like Emma and Shahrar, and against totalitarian policies and motions.

I do recall seeing the other co chair (elected by far fewer votes, btw) saying she was working on getting Emma suspended. Can only presume she was somehow successful. Outrageous.

That is interesting. A short read of it certainly shows that a few vocal Greens are definitely in breach of it imo.

Those were my thoughts. The statements on safeguarding would be funny if the GP history wasn't so concerning and I'm not convinced they've learnt any lessons.

Surely the Greens can see this is a vote loser. Emma won the Co-chair position easily, Shahrar Ali came 3rd. The None-binary gruesome twosome of Amelia and Tamsin lost the leadership campaign. Clearly there’s much less of an appetite for Trans stuff in the Greens than they think there is?

I mean a large part of the Greens for years was looking bonkers and not getting votes. But that’s all changed in the last 10 years. But they are going throw away all that recent success for the sake of pandering to a few
