The Call Is Coming From Inside The House - short film

The title comes from A Stranger Calls and what follows is something that should be watched by every secondary school teacher, therapist, Dr and politician.

It's a short film - 40 mins - a compilation really of TikTok videos and other clips which show how gripped these young people are and what can happen to them.

One quote I will probably miss quote

"Mentally ill people need to know what is real."

I'm sharing because it's really powerful in a truly terrifying way.

@Torunette

Why the heck was my post deleted?

It didn't break any guidelines whatsoever. Confused

I was about to ask exactly the same! And mine was deleted for quoting yours.

My memory is awful so I can't even remember your exact words, but I thought it was spot on!

No queenpeony. Because penises don’t get chopped off, they are preciously used to create that ever desirable hole (as I have seen it labeled on twitter by a few transitioned males).

It is female body parts that are considered superfluous. Let’s not point out that they are also erogenous zones. So… those females now have less erogenous zones than the males (with new exciting bits that bounce boobily down the stairs apparently) who keep their penises.

And clitorises, well according to those videos the pain from swelling with testosterone can be debilitating. And of course, it is uncertain how much nerve damage to that body part then occurs with phalloplasty.

But hey… weren’t we told that asexual is a valid sexuality by one mature male transitioner on this board? As if it was a consolation prize for young transitioners.

And of course, being asexual is valid. But losing any capacity for sexual pleasure through transition should not be considered as someone’s entry into that sexuality.

FOJN · 18/01/2022 08:48

That was hard to watch.

Did anyone believe the young female who was crying with happiness after "top surgery"?

Isaac's therapist was truly awful. Would a decent therapist ever say, "I'm sorry to feel that way". I can't hear any empathy in her voice at all.

The tiktoc surgeon ( the one JJ was doing an internship with) dismissing ethical concerns and making surgery seem like fun and human right.

I should be angry about it but I just can't believe so many adults are morally bankrupt or mentally ill that they would not only facilitate the harm but, in some cases, actually celebrate it.

Whatwouldscullydo · 18/01/2022 08:42

It is still sexist discrimination. Even in this health category. It is females who are suffering the higher risk in the push for supposed improved trans health

Yes, you also have to wonder if a dr with several lawsuits pending would be able to still.practice if it wasn't phalloplasty related.

Once again I am.alsp shocked at the constant " no regrets" "no negative side effects " claims.

That's not true of any procedure. Ever. If it were, then why would new techniques, less invasive ways have ever been researched/ developed. They'd be no need. Everyone was happy right? How is this the one set of medication that has no side effects and regrets and how is this the one category of surgery that has no regret/complications even grommets can go wrong.

Scraggythang · 18/01/2022 08:38

@QuimReaper that’s what I see happening. I’ve always thought it will come to that. It’s not a question of if but when. At the moment they detransitioners fear being ostracised further by their own former community and a lot of them don’t want to come forward as they don’t want to be weaponised by what they view as the ‘Terfs’- from what I’ve read on online discussion. And there’s a great sense of blaming themselves rather than those who encouraged them on the path they took. It’s hard to break cult mentality.

QueenPeony · 18/01/2022 08:29

Yes. And it's that female tissue - breasts - that we see people celebrating being binned. That people need to get rid of and that doesn't matter. Not penises. Not seen many surgeons waving buckets of penises with a big grin on their face.

OhHolyJesus · 18/01/2022 08:26

Was the gender therapist at the end being confronted Marcie Bowers? Anyone know?

No, is Victoria T. Lieber-Spiess
She was one if his therapists. The whole call where he confronts her is here:

[/quote] This should be sent to MPs. This poor young man, it is just horrific.

I may include that in my submission to the conversion therapy consultation.

Because defecating into a bag or being unable to move your arm properly should be the last thing they ever want to risk on anyone

Let’s not forget which sex suffer those complications though!

I take every opportunity to remind the occasional male who posts about puberty blockers that for some reason it is females who suffer the worst negative effects and those long term, life shortening effects. And males keep pushing a medical agenda that has less negative effect and better outcomes.

It is still sexist discrimination. Even in this health category. It is females who are suffering the higher risk in the push for supposed improved trans health.

But this seems to be ignored.

Same old. Same old.

QueenPeony · 18/01/2022 08:23

It's not the worst scar pics I've seen, they're pics of healed scars. Upsetting but not gory. There's also some other stuff like damaged arms from phalloplasties.

Whatwouldscullydo · 18/01/2022 08:18

And with drs seemingly so proud and happy to he doing all this and being paid for thr privilege. Where on earth is the inve time to do it properly the first time. When they can get paid for revisions and repairs on top. I mean once it's done it's done.it can't be undone..if its done badly they will have to have it fixed because you cant live with it alot of the time if it isn't.

Those young People were actually left disabled. For an unecessary, non life saving, non.emergent procedure.

There's a reason most invasive , long, tricky , complication riddled surgeries are done only if necessary. Because defecating into a bag or being unable to move your arm properly should be the last thing they ever want to risk on anyone

Helleofabore · 18/01/2022 08:17

If seeing huge scars across the chests of young females is graphic, then there is a whole section of those.

I mean, they are harrowing to see. Very concerning.

Kendodd · 18/01/2022 08:15

Could anyone tell me, is there graphic content before I watch? I don't want to see scenes of surgery or horrific body images.

Whatwouldscullydo · 18/01/2022 08:06

I.watched this yesterday. I've seem clips before that was heartbreaking enough. But all together it was almost more than I could take.

13 years old one of them and alloeed a mastectomy. 13. There is something seriously wrong with those drs who took children and very disturbed mentally ill and confused children and posed on Instagram and tik tok grinning away with buckets full of their HEALTHY breast tissue.

If a surgeon was filmed playing around with some patients leg s/he just had to amputate I'm sure s/he'd be hauled into the office surely?

The scars, Good god they were awful looked like a shark attack some.of them. They cannot have been performed properly.

An why the nipple removal? Why wasn't phantom pain considered as a possibility and the nipples left on?

None of them were even old enough to drink by the look of it. So a law will.protevt them.from being sold addictive and dangerous substances than could kill smaller teenage bodies with surprisingly little, but the law allowed then to remove their breasts ?

There are just no words.

TheGreatATuin · 18/01/2022 07:52

That is deeply, deeply shocking. I understand it as a social contagion but the narcissism is out of this world. Where does that come from?
Is it something wrong in our society that identity politics has latched onto or something that it's fuelling? Bit of both?

QueenPeony · 18/01/2022 07:51

So interesting about Jung who placed a lot of importance on the self as something you evolve and come to terms with through your life, becoming aware of how it’s formed and its parts. Gender ideology and similarly with what’s happening with DID, autism and other labels are like the opposite of that. You find things to give you a constructed self / “identity” based on having lots of labels for people to admire you/give you attention for, and instead of being a person with those things, you are those identities, even if you’ve only arrived at them by social contagion. Even stepping outside this to ask “but am I really this or is there something else going on?” is seen as sacrilege and insulting, and laws are being enacted to stop therapists from helping people do that.

It must be appallingly hard to come to a place where you decide you are not trans and detransition, and not only do you have to let go of that identity which was seen as your whole self, you are also bullied and ostracised for it and lose support. These are some of the bravest people. And because that must take such courage, it makes me wonder how many others feel like this but don’t dare to admit it.

WarriorN · 18/01/2022 07:35

@unwashedanddazed

Was the gender therapist at the end being confronted Marcie Bowers? Anyone know? Bowers is a surgeon not a therapist. I assumed the person being confronted was a talk therapist. They are the ones affirming patients and writing letters to access surgery.

Thank you for posting the link OP. It's a powerful video. So difficult to understand the capture of institutions, govts, and the medical profession.

Ironically Bowers has recently conceded that ROGD transition is social contagion and there needs to be better gatekeeping as well as not using PB. Bowers' transitioned Jazz.

WarriorN · 18/01/2022 07:33

It's a stunning and shocking film.

There were some concerns about Isaac last week, the young man at the end.

I'm not sure how he is now, it's very likely that he wants out of the spotlight. He's a young man horribly damaged by an abusive upbringing. Transition then triggered hashimotos which I believe he's really struggling with.

None of his therapists offered other solutions for him.

LemonSwan · 18/01/2022 02:27

Have watched. Very sad. I have no words really.

I will just leave this...

“The greatest and most important problems of life are all fundamentally insoluble. They can never be solved but only outgrown.”

  • Jung
LemonSwan · 18/01/2022 00:44

I have only watched the first 5 minutes and just getting settled. But had to say my god what a fucking legend Jung is.

My friend who is a psychologist gave me his copy of The Red Book when I was in the midst of a psychotic break.

The story of the Red Book itself is I think going to be similar to the story of this film. In that it was only really due to his work with Schizophrenics that he then thought himself he had psychosis. And when you open that door some people can choose to step into it - follow it, chase the exploration in a way. Hard to describe to anyone whos not been there.

But hes a legend because I find a lot of what he said extremely insightful and profound. Insanity I think is a sane reaction to an insane world after all.

So in conclusion I hope these kids watch out for themselves. No one can do it for them, and searching for finding ones true-self is one hell of a sure route to losing yourself entirely.

Only watched half as myst go to bed but fuck me, really powerful. Not just trans we are seeing this with as the video outlines. But possibly that's where the greatest potential for harm is Will watch the rest tomorrow.

Jux · 18/01/2022 00:00

Can we all send links to our MPs? At least some of them will watch it, possibly with their whole office staff or family.
