So I bought some ribbon in Suffragette colours rhe other week...

I noticed that somebody had tied some to a bench in town, and decided to do the same in a gesture of solidarity.

Got them out earlier to do that (now done and back from my walk), and noticed that as well as coming in a noce suffragette bag, there was a little something extra included (see second photo).

Not naming the seller, to save them from the pitchfork mob, but there was no indication that they were one of us.

I've gone for a couple of dinosaurs, I'll get ribbons next time. I think the listing has sold out but she has some in a different size if you click on seller's other items.

It is in response to a comment by MP David Lammy who called women "rights hoarding dinsosaurs" for having concerns about gender ideology and its affects on women's rights.

Hi all. Sorry I've been offline for a few days.

I went back to the seller's page and they actually sell the little charms in a separate listing! Two types of dinosaur, a hope ribbon and the female symbol. She's definitely one of us. I'm going to get some to add to my ribbons as they're only 99p. I think it's a good way of sending a nice, subtle message that's all about women's rights and norhing else.

The ribbon is good quality - nice, vibrant colours. Will PM those interested.

And also, are people putting notes with the ribbons, or just tying the ribbons up in strategic spots.
I've stuck stickers to some of my ribbons and also written directly onto the ribbons

So is the dinosaur thing courtesy of David Lammy? I see people have little dinosaur emojis in their names on Twitter (I'm not on it) along with violet, green and white hearts. I'd love violet, white and green dinosaur emojis on my phone Grin

Aw brilliant!! I bought a Tea Rex pin (little Dino in a purple and white striped tea cup!) after seeing it on here. DD has pleaded with me not to wear it in public in case I get shouted at or attacked Sad. So sad that she feels worried about showing pride in standing up for women’s rights. I love all the little dinosaur nods I’m seeing now and really hope this is the beginning of the end for the TRA bullies.
