www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10382291/Did-Hertfordshire-Police-force-break-uniform-code-transgender-trailblazer.html

One rule for women and another for transgender women.

Having long green nails and heavy makeup, breaches Hertfordshire Police Forces uniform policy, unless of course you're trans! Then you can do what you like to "feel like a woman".

@NoNotMeNoSiree

The tweets posted others are" wearing make up though.
One I can tell is wearing mascara, the other I see no make up. A vast difference from the other person who looks to have foundation, liner, mascara, eyeshadow, brows and lipstick on.

But you know that.

Helleofabore · 09/01/2022 17:45

This is what happens when posters hold such a prejudiced view of the regular poster’s on this board.

They simply cannot acknowledge when an OP has a point.

They simply must argue around and around that posters are hateful, because that may be the prejudice the poster’s have. And then use racist statements and bizarre takes to attempt to discredit posters.

yes indeed

discrete make up, in line with the policy

I'll ask again @NoNotMeNoSiree

do you think green or red are neutral nail colours?

Helleofabore · 09/01/2022 17:40

Neutral colour sirree. According to policy.

I don’t think one person has denied there are women wearing neutral make up.

Who the fuck cares who wears make up and who does not Exactly! So why do people care so much when a trans woman does but from those linked tweets where other women are wearing makeup nobody cares there?
And around we go.

I can do this all afternoon.

It is the application of the dress code policy that is in question. Your seeming inability to acknowledge there is an issue is quite apparent.

It is YOU and other posters who are making this into a ‘male wearing make up being the issue’ issue. We have all stated that the policy seems to be unequally applied and it is unfair.

ah, we should all not care about the rules being applied differently to women and transwomen?

they are VERY different I suppose, aren't they?

@NoNotMeNoSiree

I'm not the one making it about race. I was talking about make up
Post the link then.
BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 09/01/2022 17:33

@NoNotMeNoSiree

yes, you were making a judgement call on the colour of a woman's skin

let's get back on topic

do you consider green or red to be 'neutral' nail varnish colours?

NoNotMeNoSiree · 09/01/2022 17:33

Exactly!

Helleofabore · 09/01/2022 17:32

@NoNotMeNoSiree

Oh come on, you can tell what's make up and what's natural skin tone! God this conversation is fucking horrible, it's policing women's looks and its sick.
You are the one making the judgement that it is make up.

Just as jane Fae sought to shame a young woman also for their skin tone.

Look at who YOU are aligning with, isn’t that something you have told us before?

Fae. A known extreme porn campaigner, including lowering the age for porn actors, and blames women for their eggshell skulls being the reason for domestic violence resulting in murder.

Helleofabore · 09/01/2022 17:28

That's funny, as I literally never wear it and as I said I couldn't care less if others wear it or not.
It seems people on here do though.

Who the fuck cares who wears make up and who does not. You are the only one making judgement calls on who wears make up with your endless telling us you don’t.

It is irrelevant. What is relevant is the equal application of a dress code.

Something you cannot even acknowledge is happening. Yet seek to make a judgement about someone’s skin tone.

NoNotMeNoSiree · 09/01/2022 17:28

ZuttZeVootEeeVo · 09/01/2022 17:26

To be fair, I doubt there's anything in the guidelines about make up being applied well. Maybe that's the problem, didn't look.in a mirror when slapping it on. Rooky mistake.

Helleofabore · 09/01/2022 17:25

And yet you are. What don’t you see about that.

You made a personal judgement as to whether a woman has a ‘natural’ skin colour.

Which ever way you try to parse your comment, that is what you have done. Without evidence, you have judged a woman’s skin tone.

She could be that colour from birth. She could be that colour from walking the beat in the sun without adequate sun protection.

Either way, you have made a vile statement in an attempt to score points.

Well done.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 09/01/2022 17:23

I dunno if it's especially important for men who identify as women to be able to wear heavy and unsubtle make up or summat?

why do the make up rules not apply to them?

NoNotMeNoSiree · 09/01/2022 17:19

Ah, OK.
I've already said though I absolutely was not doing that at all and I never would.

ZuttZeVootEeeVo · 09/01/2022 17:19

There is an argument (admittedly a dull one) about whether office should be allowed to wear heavily make up while on duty. But that isn't this thread.

There's an argument about what is meant by discreet, but that's not what nonotme is arguing here.

Something about why we shouldn't talk about rules being applied differently to different people?

ShrillSiren · 09/01/2022 17:16

Why not just post the link if it's so easy to find?

allmywhat · 09/01/2022 17:14

@NoNotMeNoSiree

No, I think you were doing a Jane Fae

I have absolutely no idea what this is even supposed to mean.

Fae also labelled a WoC’s natural skin tone as fake tan.
NoNotMeNoSiree · 09/01/2022 17:12

allmywhat · 09/01/2022 17:10

@NoNotMeNoSiree

Can NotMe really be talking about the “mixed heritage” woman who is described as such in the Herts Police Tweet, which links to an interview where she talks about the unpleasant comments she received while growing up about the colour of her skin not being white? I hope not Shock Absolutely, 100 per cent not and I'd never do that.
🤔 You said the photo you meant wasn’t hard to find. And yet no one can find it. No, I think you were doing a Jane Fae.
BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 09/01/2022 17:07

@ZuttZeVootEeeVo

Can you link to the photo you are referring to, because I'm having trouble seeing anyone with an aggressive fake tan.
also, and I'm not sure how to make @NoNotMeNoSiree get this

*there is no fucking policy on fake tan for heaven's sake'

there is a clear policy on nail colour and discreet make up

which Officer Cherry is clearly blowing out of the water

why is this so fucking hard to get?
