Ray Blanchard is no feminist quite clearly has a certain amount of sympathy for men with AGP.

I, on the other hand, reserve my sympathy for their wives and families whose harrowing experiences can be read on Trans Widows Voices and Children of Transitioners.

Blanchard is very non-judgmental about the men with AGP. Any blame floating about should be attached to women, if I recall his interviews correctly.

And, likewise, I'm past my endurance with the gap in basic empathy and sympathy for the trans widows and children of transitioners. I'd be startled if James O'Brien or Max had had the courtesy to do any substantial preparation by reading a research brief on them.

So annoying the way James constantly fills gaps with "the conversations are so toxic" when HE and his ilk are the ones MAKING the conversations toxic!! He's still got no clue. 🙄

Putting the topic aside (although it has been joyful to eatch). Here is anotther glaring example of a thick as pig shit, mediocre man able to make a six figure salary and be on TV/radio as well.

His arguments are so embarrassingly bad, but he gives them steeped in the authority that can only come from male privilege, i dont think he feels the need to question himself at all. He can pontificate all he likes, becuase he is a man. No woman would even remotely get away with this.

In fact, I seem to remember her asking whether he would allow his daughters into a mixed six changing room, and he said of course, why not. But when the transwoman said they didn't want to go into a male changing room he purred, no course you don't.

There's also a big difference between speaking to somebody and writing about somebody. The

Not at all. It makes perfect sense.

That isn't really an entirely accurate description of Blanchard's research on AGP, if people are going to use the categories defined by him, use them, but he doesn't say that men with AGP are all walking around dressed as women to get a sexual thrill.

He says that men with autogynephilia have a 'target location error', where they are in sexual thrall to the idea of themselves as a woman. AGP is a paraphilia. Well documented, and talked about by men who have it from one end of the Internet to the other.

No, lovelyweather, we are not a hive mind. We will get banned after 3 strikes. So we avoid deletions. Using male pronouns for a male AGP will risk us a deletion.

As Arabella said, she, I and many others personally will never use female pronouns for any male. But the moderation regime here makes us use convoluted language sometimes - or just to avoid commenting on threads where this is exceptionally difficult. The 'chilling' effect.

I know you do Arabella, but women here are generally very happy to use female pronouns for men, there was a recent thread where that was stated repeatedly.

I am so used to using sex-based pronouns that it jars every time I see or here gender-presenting-based use of pronouns.

The person wrongly living inside James Max must be cringing so hard right now. Maybe thats why he's lost his mind.

lovely if you use wrong pronouns on here you run the risk of being deleted. Personally, I just avoid using them.

I also don't understand how many women here are so willing to use female pronouns for male people. This is all about language. "She" is an appropriate pronoun for KJ as she is a woman. Using "she" for a man gives the impression that a person believes a man can be female, but that doesn't make sense.

There's plenty of reason to think that there are now plenty of individuals out there who are straight up presenting as women in public for thrills, but that's not a description of the same psychological problem he thought medical transition could potentially help.

DH is a self confessed AGP. Which is when men get aroused by presenting as women. DH presents as a woman, wrote teaching guidelines saying tw should be called Miss and use women's toilets. And thinks that big breasts confer social cachet among women.

I listened to the interview with Debbie.

She was really good. I have praised kellie to the rafters at the beginning of the thread and attribute a lot of her power to being gorgeous. And of course, Debbie is trans so someone like James would dare not suggest she might be transphobic or she may need to be cancelled for her views, would he?

I also like Debbie's no nonsense tone. You can tell she is a teacher.

But I understand kellie has no time for Debbie and really don't understand why.

Baroness Nicholson has asked Max for an interview and Max seems to have agreed, according Twitter. That'll be good.
