The answer of 80% agreeing with gender ideology to be kind to the latest minority group, and 20% fear of rocking the boat makes sense with my large organisation too.

We all bought into the 'rainbow' signage a few years ago and felt sorry for what we thought were physically transitioning people who wanted to be called Wendy instead of Steve (for example). We were all happy to look at Steve and ignore his height, body shape, voice, face shape, stride and similar maleness, and feel for him wanting to be Wendy. Then the reality of selfID started to be reported, highlighting the injustice to women in letting fully intact men into safe spaces.

My organisation still references gender not sex, but colleagues talk about sex being different to gender in small safe groups. However, no one can speak up to push back against gender ideology as we have families and finances (mortgages) to protect.

In the Emperor's new clothes the boy could be honest as there were no TRAs posing as a threat to him and his family.

Before writing this letter, Baroness Nicholson was in the audience 21st October and asked the panel at the LGB Alliance conference how Stonewall got hold of the NHS. you can see it here

at time stamp 01:23:11

Also at time stamp 50:50 Kate Grimes ex NHS CEO asks all NHS staff who've experienced homophobia to contact her, after giving evidence including testimonials from the staff who've contacted her. the stats from the NHS pride week are startling. the word lesbian is mentioned ZERO times but non-binary is mentioned 18 times.

Looks like some of the content helped but it was obviously already very much on her mind. And she asked a detailed question covering Parliament etc.

Enough4me · 07/11/2021 20:28

I will admit I didn't as I was scared of the TRAs. They are unreasonable and aggressive and the irony is that they claim to be in a vulnerable position.

I wish all similar future work was clearly anonymous from the start so anyone with a more unusual name could not be identified.

I wonder how high the figure would have been if fear was not a factor?

GreyhoundG1rl · 04/11/2021 12:43

I wonder if that's enough? I'd kind of hoped it would be more...

OhHolyJesus · 04/11/2021 12:05

To reassure anyone re confidentially.

Done.

Redshoeblueshoe · 03/11/2021 21:50

There's still time to get your signature on the letter

EyesOpening · 03/11/2021 20:17

@Redshoeblueshoe

I just put my name too. I'm sure that the Baroness will tweet if that's not enough.
Thank you and BoreOfWhabylon for your replies.
ArtemesiaK · 03/11/2021 19:46

I added my name. Hope I did it right. Full name, don't care. I'm old and never had a "proper" job anyway.. :)

Cuck00soup · 03/11/2021 19:29

Right I've done it!

Have to say that I agree about NHS trusts, but am hopeful that they will fold if the DH ejects stonewall. Perhaps they could invest the savings in women's services. Will they fuck

Blackandwhitehorse · 03/11/2021 18:57

Done. I think the NHS trusts are all independent so not sure the DoH leaving will have a direct impact.

Redshoeblueshoe · 03/11/2021 18:43

Bump

ScrollingLeaves · 03/11/2021 15:04

Done

Cuck00soup · 03/11/2021 15:01

@OhHolyJesus

I think a separate letter with names will follow and it will stay within the walls of parliament and won't be published.

I think This is a private letter to Javid with only the content shared for the purposes of being on Twitter, but you could sign under a different name and say why @Cuck00soup.

Thank you. That's good to know.

Worrysaboutalot · 03/11/2021 10:14

Done. Another bump

amter · 03/11/2021 08:34

Done, thanks for posting

Fabulous letter. I have been weighing up whether to sign it in my own name.

The fact that I am fearful of the consequences of signing the letter show just how much it is needed.

OhHolyJesus · 03/11/2021 07:40

The deadline to sign appears to be midnight tonight.

Signed.

Sajid Javid knows what a woman is. He just needs to find his balls.

TedImgoingmad · 02/11/2021 23:11

Have sent my name. Thank you for the link, OP.

Leafstamp · 02/11/2021 21:55

@KittenKong

So the department of health have drop-kicked stonewall. Does that mean that this will halt this scheme ?
Sadly I’m not convinced it will.

Looks like deadline for signing the letter is midnight tonight - get emailing!

2319inprogress · 02/11/2021 20:28

A few hours left to sign

mynxy · 02/11/2021 20:02
