I thought this may be of interest:

www.mpts-uk.org/hearings-and-decisions/medical-practitioners-tribunals/dr-adrian-harrop-nov-21

The tribunal will inquire into the allegation that from 10 May 2018 to 23 November 2019, Dr Harrop inappropriately used his Twitter account to post tweets that were offensive and/or insulting and/or inappropriate in nature and some of which were intended to intimidate.

That won't be fun for Harrop.

Likely the case against is going to be based on screenshots. Lots of screenshots.

So he will, if the format follows the norm for such hearings, will involve him answering questions about each one presented to the hearing committee.

Ah so this is why he’s so quiet. Are we allowed to talk about it? The monitors got another thread deleted where we were discussing “where are they now?” on various luminaries of the genderist movement.

Does anyone know what the possible penalties could be, if a medical practitioner were to be found guilty of “using a Twitter account inappropriately to post tweets that are offensive and/or insulting and/or inappropriate in nature and some of which are intended to intimidate.”

Bread Yes I think so.

[quote PronounssheRa]Well isn't that interesting. One of his last tweets before he abandoned twitter seriously crossed a line. I believe that particular tweet was reported to the police.

Looks like that's outside the dates mentioned in the hearing though.

The site says:

St James’s Buildings, 79 Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 6FQ. It is possible to observe proceedings from our Manchester hearing centre. Please give us 14 days' notice if you would like to attend, so arrangements can be made.

Motorina · 19/10/2021 16:26

Hearings are normally open to the public if anyone wishes to go observe and report back.

Mycatismadeofstringcheese · 19/10/2021 16:22

That’s interesting. I think it was only yesterday there were a few remarks about how quiet he’s been lately.
