Has retweeted an article from the Toronto Star "why can't we say woman anymore" and bloody hell are they coming for the latest witch burning in the comments!

Ranging from disappointment to the usual sweary abuse. I thought oh how long till the capitulation begins, turns out I didn't have to wait long!

She's following it up with retweets about 'we can say people when it's accurate and inclusive' and then defending the article because the writer isn't "a terf"???

Not really sure what she's trying to achieve here, anyone?

Reading those accusations, I wondered if PoMo Cowboy has developed amnesia in re: Jessica Yaniv who has demonstrably showcased racism, misogyny, and anti-several faiths bigotry and all with the assistance of British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal who assisted in the complaints against multiple beauticians.

One of those tweets ends:
it now seems quite believable that this article was actually written by someone with that name. Regardless, she is not representative of the community.

Are trans people all supposed to have the same opinions about everything? Can't this person state their own opinion without being expected to be 'representative of the community'?

The good news is that the CBC is allowing comment on this opinion piece on trans issues.

However the article is bemoaning the fact that these "self declared women" are ruining for "transitioned" transwomen (who belong in women's spaces).

It seems the only comments being allowed are laudatory. I pointed out that women cannot tell the difference between self declared transwomen and transitioned transwomen and my comment was rejected.

Just wondering is the Handmaid’s Tale TV show in its final season yet? And was she making much off it in royalties?

Basically is there a chance she was financially incentivised to avoid cancellation and now that constraint is lifted?

This father is going around the country, peacefully protesting gender identity ideology and medical transition of children. He was mobbed by a large counter protest of absolute loons (including local politicians!) and assaulted. The only good news in Canada is that the police have not been captured in the same way that they have in the UK, and they're still actually doing their jobs. They have given support and protection to Meghan Murphy and others such as this man.

Noted earlier on the thread, there will be a piece about the Tavistock and Keira Bell on TV tonight, on our "second" national network. For the Canadian MSM to cover this is huge. I think there is a slight but subtle shift going on, but most people in Canada aren't aware of any of these issues.
