Gay man 'bullied' off Manchester Pride for wearing LGB Alliance hat and t-shirt

LibDem activist delighted by this. Here are two of her tweets. The gay man who turned up in an LGB hat and t-shirt was allegedly advised by police to leave for his own safety and seems to have had the hat stolen.

Another young fool tweeted that 'bullying the guy in the LGB Alliance shirt who came to the protest march is my favourit part of Pride so far xx'. He has since deleted this (possibly because he is now sober and/or has seen how many people had reported this to his employers) and now claims he was just chanting 'Trans lives matter!'. 'Bullying' is an odd choice of words for this. How could anyone think admitting publicly to 'bullying' was a good look?

The LGB Alliance man has been advised that people shouting at him is actually assault if he wants to take it further. Doesn't sound like he does, though.

Unedifying, to say the least.

Like the reason he was singled out was due to the shirt and hat he was wearing came straight from the mouths of those who assaulted and stole from him.

Well, for the avoidance of all doubt, only women can be lesbians, and male people are never women, not even if they really want to be or truly believe they are. So, no, 'transwomen' cannot be lesbians.

If a woman is transgender, that is she is female and believes she has a gender identity that over-rides that, she may be a lesbian.

But there are no male lesbians. Ever.

Call me transphobic. I don't fucking care, because disagreeing with what I've just written is dribbling, knuckle-dragging homophobia and I'll stand against it anywhere you care to name.

Making sense would be a great start and making points relevant and coherent to the subject under discussion would be the next logical step.

Is that not something you do under normal face to face conversations in a group? Why would this be different?
