‘School rushed to help our boy become a girl’

The trans toolkit for teachers stated: “Remember that a pupil who identifies as a trans girl but was born biologically male is not a ‘boy dressed as a girl’ but is a girl who outwardly at this point resembles a ‘boy’.”

Has the world gone mad? What can biology teachers make of this utter nonsense?

Here is the case, it really is shocking how much has changed since then. Look at the judge's comments regarding the child's inappropriate knowledge of genital anatomy. Just five years ago this was a big red flag. Now we have children exposed to all sorts of inappropriate information both via the Internet and through supposedly educational sources, eg the drag monkeys at the library.
I wonder if Justice Hayden would make such comments today?

I was refreshing my memory about this case from just five years ago - concerns raised by the school were given great weight by the judge.

It is hard to imagine how a case like this would result in the child being given the protection they needed these days.

This, and successful actions with big compensation payouts. When cowardly organisations realise their complicity will cost them big money, they’ll suddenly remember their safeguarding duty.

When the history of 'WTF happened to a generation of teenagers, and where were the responsible adults?' comes to be written, the words 'trans toolkit' are going to become notorious. Who actually wrote it?
