It's fascinating how con-artists and predators adapt to the times. At one point they'd become quack doctors or spirit mediums, then it was fake aristocrats or exiled Russian royalty, then dodgy priests, teachers or doctors, and now they've co-opted the social justice movement. So many times I've seen someone claim victimhood, only for them to turn out to be totally dodgy.

Rehabilitation is an involved process, it doesn't just happen. A person with a long history (which includes setting up a magazine) doesn't just suddenly turn over a new leaf.
It would be reasonable to expect that rehabilitation would include some kind of apology and restitution.

Oh! I remember reading about her before.

How any organisation can fail to know her history is beyond me.

If you want to work rehabilitating female prisoners putting a seemingly committed recidivist anywhere near the helm us about as sensible as having a violent transwoman advocate for you!
