I'm wondering what the justification is among decent people for this kind of growing overt homophobia being tolerated on platforms like this one or Twitter of Facebook? If someone was speaking to me like this in a work setting, I would be reporting them for harrassment.

They need to be reported for a Hate Crime or Non-Crime Hate Incident, the homophobia being expressed is appalling.

I'm hoping that the LGB Alliance conference will be an opportunity to think about some proper strategy.

She is both feminine, very long hair, pastel loving stereotypes, and masculine interests, hobbies stereotypes. A real mixture like every human everywhere.

I suppose it is a challenge to stand against it when there is a group of people in organizations like Stonewall/Diva, etc. are openly promoting it. I watched some 'Lesbian Visibility Week' content and watched lesbians encouraged to 'get used' to different kinds of genitals.
How do we properly challenge that kind of thing? It's overt, brazen and discriminatory. The law must mean something in these contexts.

We could start by refreshing people on what they can look like, particularly lesbophobia, which has the additional dimension on homophobia around women’s sexual boundaries in relation to excluding men, and how some men have always perceived that to be a threat to the natural order of things?

Crikey it's one thing when a mask slips, it's quite another when you fling it on the floor, stamp on it, pick it up, smooth it out, fling it at everyone within eyesight, and then puke on it.

Bluebird Nothing wrong with genital preferences in and of themselves, he should simply state his preference and NOT add any unsolicited commentary on whether he thinks trans men are "real men".

This sounds as if we may be able to meet halfway. Could you suggest a form of words that would both communicate the gay man's needs in romantic partners and avoid wasting the transman's time, and also wouldn't seem transphobic to you?

But they are male and, like man or men, male isn't a 'gender'.
Correctly sexing a human isn't phobic or hate.

All we would ask of him is to not be transphobic towards trans men, or claim that his sexuality inherently excludes them. Easy

Being a gay male DOES inherently exclude trans men though. That's what homosexuality is. Why should a gay man pretend otherwise just because it might hurt someone's feelings?

Transwomen are male, that's a fact, that's reality, that is a protected belief under Law, we can state it and not be discriminated against, nor charged with any crime if we do so.
