In Scotland, I'm not sure I understand it fully:

Bizarre. And short-sighted. And discriminatory.

Why are they conflating sexuality with gender identity? (rhetorical question)

And is the Scottish Justice system so blinkered that it doesn’t think gay men commit domestic abuse of their partners?

Or for that matter that Women (straight or gay) and Trans Women aren’t abusers either?

I find it… ironic… that the Scottish Govt has decided to exclude so many categories of people from a program designed to recognise their abusive behaviours and hopefully break the DA cycle, whilst insisting that DA shelters are opened up to anyone and everyone.

They are saying the relationship is not heterosexual, which is just bizzare.

This batshittery has to end!

He is male. The partner is female. It is typical male pattern abuse of women, In reality that is what is happening and, as this case well illustrates, this female cannot 'identify' out of abusive men committing typical male pattern violence against them.

So now, the man is going to be left to carry on without treatment to abuse his partner and women in the future.
So out of adherence to this ideology women will continue to be abused by this man.

Well done Nicola Sturgeon, you aint' no feminist.

It must be very confusing for that man (and most people) to find out that they actually did not have had a heterosexual relationship as they thought.

That is them told.

I have just read it.
Service is for heterosexual couples.
Couple is man and former woman now nb.
Man is refused service. It’s not clear but are they saying he’s now not heterosexual ?
He hasn’t changed his sexuality so will likely seek future relationships with women and I assume may revert to this prior behaviour.
So rather than admit that he is denied service.
