Oh dear, what a pity, never mind.

TedImgoingmad · 05/08/2021 22:06

Isn't it something to do with fairy people.

Lysianthus · 05/08/2021 21:59

Just saw the pronouns. Fae and faer. Someone please help me with the etymology?

OhWhyNot · 05/08/2021 21:57

So some trans women are not happy with just claiming they are women because they say they are now they are claiming the word female too

Doubt it will take long for the spineless Green Party to reconsider this decision as they have become a party that allows men to make decisions for women - pity what a waste

SirSamuelVimes · 05/08/2021 21:55

So...

I told everyone I was going to break the law.
I broke the law.
I told everyone I had broken the law.
I got sacked because I broke the law.
....
....
....
.... I got sacked because I'm trans!

O-kaaaaaay.

TedImgoingmad · 05/08/2021 21:53

How evil do you need to be to think that your personal gender bobbins is more important than the future of the planet?

PronounssheRa · 05/08/2021 21:50

@FindTheTruth

typo - Didn't Challenor report green party women to the police too or have I got that wrong?
I think it could have been andy Healey who was reported by the challenors
FindTheTruth · 05/08/2021 21:46

With the scary Climate news today we need parties focused on it and the Green party needs to get its act together.

TheWeeDonkey · 05/08/2021 21:45

I guess give the current climate its only natural that Bristow thinks that lying, incompetence and burying stories is a part of the job.

FindTheTruth · 05/08/2021 21:40

typo - Didn't Challenor report green party women to the police too or have I got that wrong?

FindTheTruth · 05/08/2021 21:40

So the Green Party have had Challoner and Bristow silencing / controlling and banning women. Bristow green party women members have been barred from commenting or posting in their own space. Didn't Bristow report green party to the women too or have I got that wrong? how can you trust the Green party not to repeat this pattern forever?

QueenPeary · 05/08/2021 21:37

Isn’t this just reflective of the whole TRA situation though.

Anyone who doesn’t like having their speech coerced, their sex-based legal rights and safe spaces encroached on, or being threatened with violence for their views is “transphobic” - when in reality they have no issue with people being trans. Just with being bullied, threatened and controlled by an ideology, and with being expected to live by someone else’s beliefs.

Likewise if you behave illegally and boast about it, and get dropped, that’s because of your behaviour, not being trans. Is KB really publicly claiming to be so dim as to not be able to grasp that?

Hope Kathryn keeps on bringing the sunlight though.

FindTheTruth · 05/08/2021 21:31

@ScreamingMeMe ah yes!

that 'green party women coup' thread is the one I was thinking of with Bristow "removing the rights of women to organise and discuss women's matters on the Green Party forum" and banning the women from setting up a new group aka 'women should not have their own space with freedom to talk about their own sex based issues without a male in control'

PronounssheRa · 05/08/2021 21:31

Oh dear, what a shame, never mind

The green party really does attract curious people

Loved this anonymous quote:
"A member of the LGBTIQA+ Greens, who spoke to openDemocracy on condition of anonymity, said the regional council “have huge questions to answer about their decision-making and whether or not they’re unfairly targeting inclusive people”."

Inclusive people????? lol

Childrenofthestones · 05/08/2021 21:28

@Wrongsideofhistorymyarse

Chinny reckon
Hahaha I haven't heard that for years. 😊👍
AdaFuckingShelby · 05/08/2021 21:27

What an idiot. Failing to spot your own rule breaking because you are so entitled you think the law doesn't apply to you, then blaming the consequences on others. Would've fit right in as an MP.

thinkingaboutLangCleg · 05/08/2021 21:25

omg Fair Play For Women are helping to save the planet too, thanks to the green party now going back to focusing on climate change, thanks to them taking the ONS to the high court and winning a judgement that sex in the census means sex.

Funny but true!

Clymene · 05/08/2021 21:24

Oh what a shame. Couldn't have happened to a nicer person

Consequences for choices and behaviours = transphobia?

No, I don't think so Kathryn.

exexpat · 05/08/2021 21:23

Kathryn was joint chair of the Green's women's section with Emma Bateman; Emma was pushed out and Kathryn silenced all discussion.

exexpat · 05/08/2021 21:21

Kathryn Bristow also works or worked for GenderGP, which might also turn out to be a bit of a reputational risk for the Green Party given the current tribunal hearing for Helen Webberley.

FindTheTruth · 05/08/2021 21:20

there was a thread about Bristow taking over the green party women's chat room and banning replies or something
