I see that Bristow had another fundraising attempt earlier this year for facial feminisation surgery and raised £120 out of a goal of £22,000.

FFS how deluded is this person? The ONS doesn't care about your feelings or need for validation, I would love to put that I'm still 21, but that IS NOT REALITY.

Someone says something I don't like? WAH WAH transphobia!!! So tiresome. The fact that this person is blatantly bragging about it shows their supreme arrogance. The rules don't apply to me, I'm too special.

'I know what my sex is'...eh, yes but you are pretending otherwise.

'No one can tell you what you should put on the census, this is massive overreach by the ONS'.

The only one overreaching here is this narcissist overreaching the bounds of reason.

Reasons why I have voted in the past for the Green Party: concern about the environment and climate change, sustainable transport policy, good MEPs like Molly Cato

Reasons why I will not vote for the Green Party now: women are 'non men', appalling safeguarding failures around Aimee Challoner and David Challoner, awful treatment of Andy Healey and other GC greens, Veritas report, exclusionary behaviour of KB who cannot represent females and openly lied on the census etc

Above all, there's such a death grip embrace of gender woo that begs the question whether the Green Party leadership properly understand about biology, science, nature etc all while a climate emergency is unfolding around us with floods and fires, that this is what they are focusing on...

Or the 70s. I remember being in a railway station with my one brother, both wearing T shirts, flared cotton trousers and men's barathea blazers. I had longish hair and his hair was longer than mine.

Perfectly normal for the time and our ages, and we were still female and male.

It all starts in the 70s with Bowie, who managed to persuade a very dubious Mick Ronson, working class blerk from Hull, to wear make-up because it get him more girls.

breatheandfocus I’m a woman with short hair, always have been. I’m also quite GNC, often wear jeans and t-shirt with no make-up, wear big boots etc but nothing out of the ordinary. I happen to be a straight, adult human female woman and in no way LBGTQ+++ at all, but in the last few years it’s been funny to see certain people tie themselves up in knots trying not to say the wrong thing or misgender me or direct me to the wrong toilets, in case I’m NB or identify as a man or whatever and might bite their head off.

It’s tragic. In the 80s/90s I was just a straight woman with short hair and my pick of the lads! Now I’m potentially not a woman.

I miss the 80s! All that freedom to wear what you want and to break down stereotypes and expectations. How has it all faded so fast? Is it the import of lots of US cultural things and/or the US dominated internet sites like Tumblr, etc?

Someone here (I think) a few weeks ago said that they’d show teens pictures of various New Romantics and the teens couldn’t believe they weren’t ‘trans’ or NB.

I’m seeing people on Twitter claim that female isn’t a biological term and that changing the M to F on a birth certificate not only makes you a woman but actually female?
