Also the convictions were for conspiracy to kidnap, Wong was also convicted of possession of a bladed article (a multi-tool lock knife with a serrated edge).

If Metanoia, as an organisation, wishes to distance itself from the Cinic for Dissociative Studies and from the associated psychotherapeutic malpractice and conspiracy theories about SRA, i suggest that the conviction of Wilfred Wong might be the wake up call that they need to step up to the plate and make some kind of public statement on this issue.

Wong and his fellow kidnappers really deserve their own thread, but I include the press reports here to give a sense of the kind of insane, dangerous beliefs that are included in the training at Metanoia

Just to clarify my last point

As far as I know Metanoia does not teach people about satanic ritual abuse.

However I am concerned as Metanoia teach students in their training courses and professionals in CPD accredited workshops about DID in an uncritical manner. The history of the develpopment of DID as a diagnosis parallels and is closely associated with psychotherapeutic malpractice in relation to false memories of SRA, as happend in the Carol Felstead case.

A concerning number of Metanoia trainers and other staff also work with the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, an extremely controversial organisation that is notorious for promoting beliefs in widespread SRA.

Therefore I think it would be surprising if a belief in SRA was not prevalent amongst the Metanoia staff.

It should come as a surprise to nobody that Mentanoia promotes uncritical beliefs about dissociative identity disorder (DID) to its students. As I have demonstrated many times here, the quacks, charlatans and useful idiots promoting DID are not infrequently involved in promoting the extreme end of the TRA movement.

Firstly a Metanoia CPD accredited workshop featuring trainers who work with the appalling Clinic for Dissociative Studies. The trainers are Marion Schoenfield a therapist who apparently has an interest in gender and sexuality issues and Abby Seltzer a psychiatrist who, terrifyingly, works as an expert witness in court proceedings.

It is a page listing the qualifications and professional experiences of the counsellor / psychotherapist Dr Lesley McGown who states that Metanoia is her "principal training organisation” and claims to have a “particular expertise in working with dissociative disorders” .

Of particular interest is the following text: I am a Consultant Psychotherapist with the London Clinic for Dissociative Studies. I am also an external examiner for Metanoia Institute.

One of Sinason's associates mentioned in the above article, the notorious anti-abortion campaigner (abortions are sacrifices to Satan apparently) Wilfred Wong, was recently convicted of kidnapping a terrified child from his step-mother at knifepoint and, along with accomplices, bundling the poor child into a car.

According to recent press reports, Wong threatened the child's stepmother by holding a knife to her face, snatched the child and then slashed the step-mother's car tyres before kidnapping the child and, thankfully, eventually being stopped by armed police following a car chase.

Reporting restrictions have only recently been lifted so there are many alarming news reports about this dangerous man Wilfred Wong that have only recently been available

I'm glad I came across this thread. I've been following James Esses with interest. He's doing a wonderful thing. People don't know the half of what is going on with these gender identity clinic's. After three appointments my autistic daughter is on hormones and on her way to surgery. It's truly disturbing.

So good to see him meet his target so quickly - and the comments are from all sorts of people, men, women and very pleasingly a significant number of psychologists and social workers.

This is when I know that the fight back against this regressive ideology has wings.

Great news. I agree, it's very gratifying to see these crowdfunders fill up quickly. Sometimes being GC can feel very lonely, even with vipers for company. Moments like these show that we're not alone.
