Thought it deserved a thread of its own on this day of the shopping trip to Glasgow.
JK Rowling has just tweeted it too in response to Joanna Cherry. How I love all these strong, brave women.

I remember when it was Christians arguing their symbol had been nicked. Dunno if Jewish people ever used it.

How about the rainbow becomes a symbol of hope covering all the colours in the spectrum like it still is to all the kids who just think it's pretty.

The sanctimonious bores can have their progress pride flag and the rest of humanity can leave them to their nasty little bully club.

So nhs workers will need to pass a test to wear the badge. Which means that those who don’t wear the badge haven’t passed the test or have refused to take it. Neatly dividing all nhs staff into “allies” or “bigots”. Does anyone else recognise the insidiousness of this?

It is an English word that has fallen out of use in England but needs to be reserected.

Scrabble accepts 'whisht' so maybe we could have that?

Meanwhile, this misogynist - well known as a nuisance Tweeter on Scottish Twitter - is ineptly trying to convince the Twittosphere that (1) nobody went to the “rally” and (2) if anybody did go it was suspiciously many men and (3) if there wiz ony women there they wiz over 40 and therefore “not human representative”.

I think that this response, from an actual trans person, is concise and apt - in the apparent absence of a mum or dad or gran or gramp to skelp the little nyaff’s backside inform Whaley that there’s history and memory and policy and law and culture in Scotland that is not 100% recklessly centred on his individual narcissistic little woman-hating self and people exactly like him (and damn everybody else).

That's after making out earlier that 250 people on a weekday during a heatwave was a poor turnout.

Ah we spied one goon during the speeches. He was masked up with a bandana and dark glasses while the police spoke to him. He hung around up the back. Did more show when everyone moved on to the beer garden?
