I'm glad she's said this. It's despicable that TRA's subjected children to this in the first instance but even more so that they double down to blame the woman they targeted.

From now on I expect all TRA Monitors who lurk and report posts here on FWR to post to tell us all they have done so. That way there can be no confusion about their intentions, because clearly reporting in silence behind the scenes is no longer acceptable. Fair deal?

JKR is far more restrained than me but if I had her money I'd be suing everyone who was trying to imply anything about her putting children in danger its so disingenuous.

If I remember correctly, it was calling her a danger to children on Twitter, that did make her react publicly. It's pure defamation. She's a children's author. She has a children's charity.

There also seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding from certain TRAs that ignoring something personally, doesn't mean that you're not doing anything about it. 🙄

As far as I am aware their is an age limit for having a twitter account but not for an account holder showing a tweet to someone without an account.

I follow funny cat/dog memes accounts and I show them to my child. I screen them first. She has no social media.

I guess Killer knows this but still wants an excuse to bash mums.

Even if no children ended up seeing the vile porn tweeting (which I doubt) why should parents sharing their children's artwork with a famous author be subject to it?

No amount of weaselly words or attempted victim blaming is going to wash here. We all know who did it, why they did it and what it says about them.
