I agree ErrolTheDragon. I would think any topic should stay in AIBU if it is there for the poll. That is the point of the place after all. To see a vote from a broad range of opinions. To catch those who might have a passing interest in the particular question being polled but wouldn’t likely visit the particular board. I have looked at AIBU’s on a wide variety of topics but apart from an occasional trip to AIBU I rarely leave FWR, sorry I mean naughty step.

Suppose you heard about it on the radio? Or you're blind and use a screenreader?

Presumably the child told the police he was assaulted by a man, so how come this person was arrested and charged if this person is a woman? That’s some serious misgendering by the Canadian police force.

I suppose the OPs 2nd post may have been interpreted as her wanting it moved but I infer she didn't actually report the thread and request it.

This thread was correctly configured as a poll, which can only be done on AIBU at the moment, not as a debate. So moving it makes little sense.

The problem with self-ID is that it erases the line between genuinely transgender people and perverts who get sexual thrills from pretending to be women.
And that’s a big problem.

Naughty corner. We’re not allowed to criticise men like this who identify as women. I’ll probably be deleted fo misgendering. Woe betide something like this be in the public eye for scrutiny.

This is so upsetting. That poor child. Not only have they been sexually assaulted, by a man who likely used his penis, the child will now be gas lit that they were assaulted by a woman.

Sexual abuse is life changing for many people, and not in a good way. I don't know how a child would make it through this. Assaulted and then lied to by the people and system that should protect him. He must be so frightened.

Women get an easier time in prison I say this as an ex prison officer
Men will say they identify as women to get into these female prisons but they still threaten to rape the women and officers who work there!

People should look up Madilyn Harks if they want to know what is going on in Canadian prisons.

Heather Mason did a good interview with Megan Murphy on the subject as well. She's been through the prison system and has seen it first-hand.

Obviously a male identifying as female. If they still possess a penis, they should be trialled as a male especially if they used it to abuse the poor children. Should be sent to male prison too.
