@Iggi999

Is anyone else getting the spaceNK ad all the time when on mumsnet, the one featuring a transwoman? (Tattoos and a black dress) I feel like it is following me around, especially when I read this thread!
Yes.
Furries · 16/07/2021 04:07

All of that post breaks me.

The four words that should break everyone are “it does not matter”

Nothing else to add.

Furries · 16/07/2021 03:59

@PurgatoryOfPotholes - that is horrific. Beyond horrific.

PurgatoryOfPotholes · 16/07/2021 03:58

Well, we know some child abusers have that exact thought process.

What we don't know is whether this is someone trolling by feigning that thought process, or someone so emboldened by the cesspit that is twitter that they've tweeted what they're really thinking.

I honestly can't tell these days.

@PurgatoryOfPotholes

Someone just posted this on twitter.

Ruby Eby is a woman. It does not matter what she did, it is not an excuse to be transphobic. Arguably the six-year-old “boy” (we don’t know if the child has figured out their own identity yet) could have learned from the experiences Ruby gave them. Anyways fuck TERFs.

The world is not okay.

Oh No, I hope that is written by a troll and that people don't genuinely think like this. I just can't imagine how anyone could have a thought process like that.
Chickenyhead · 16/07/2021 02:28

That is sock

To be fully inclusive for everyone's viewpoints on sex and gender, they should have referred to this pervert as, e.g. "penis owner" or "scrotum user" or "ejaculating person".

toffeebutterpopcorn · 15/07/2021 22:56

All the time. Gimme a break - I’m a 50-something woman. How many young people like this are on this site?

Blatant bloke

chickenyhead · 14/07/2021 23:46

Men.

BlackAlys · 14/07/2021 23:26

@IfNot

So some publications are not using the word ‘woman’ in articles about birth and women's health, and instead refer to ‘people’ or parts of anatomy, but are use ‘woman’ to describe a biologically male perpetrator of sex crime!

"Woman" is a dirty word except when describing a male sex offender.
If you had told me 10 years ago this is where we would be I wouldn't have believed you. One day many people are going to be very ashamed of themselves. And I for one will not forgive and forget.

This truly is the stuff of nightmares.

Why isn't anyone in a position of trust and power, listening? Why do they all have their fingers in their ears?

IHaveBrilloHair · 14/07/2021 23:25

@Runningupthecurtains

That's exactly it isn't it.
Of course women won't come forward to say they were assaulted by a woman, because they weren't.
That means crimes will go unreported.

BlackAlys · 14/07/2021 23:20

@dyslek

I showed this to people at work today and their jaws were on the floor. One young woman said 'how come no one knows about this?'
Maybe people who've been preaching kindness will now realise the shitstorm that's gaining momentum for women and children.

Maybe they'll realise that safeguarding and law isn't built on kindness to individuals.

Maybe now, just maybe there's a glimmer of hope that they'll start to understand some of what we've been trying to tell them. It's just fucking heartbreaking that women and children are getting hurt in the meantime.

But, this never happens, does it.

MrsRockAndRoll · 14/07/2021 19:45

I didn't realise there was this much movement of threads!

Runningupthecurtains · 14/07/2021 19:19

*investigators believe there may be other victims.

Police are asking anyone with information related to the investigation to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers*

They might have more success appealing for other victims of they told the truth. Someone who was assaulted by a man isn't that like to come forward as the victim of a woman are they?

SheldonesqueTheBstard · 14/07/2021 17:46

Chewin the fat had a women with rather superior olfactory skills.

olive actory

EmmaGrundyForPM · 14/07/2021 17:45

Annoying isn't the word I would use

Frightening
Kafkaesque
Surreal
Nightmarish

those are my thoughts. Especially when reading the piece above re Maria MacLachlan

dyslek · 14/07/2021 17:43

@Staffy1

Ugh, so annoying. How have so many authorities been persuaded to go along with this bullshit?
I think alot of people would like to know that.

@PurgatoryOfPotholes

Toronto police have commented that "Ruby identifies as a woman".
I bet he does.
toffeebutterpopcorn · 14/07/2021 16:44

I believe the correct response is ‘did she shite?’

Sophoclesthefox · 14/07/2021 16:36

@SheldonesqueTheBstard

Does she aye?
Quite.
toffeebutterpopcorn · 14/07/2021 16:34

@PurgatoryOfPotholes

Toronto police have commented that "Ruby identifies as a woman".
So if they identify as innocent with the Toronto police let them go free?
