What are all the liberal celebs so quiet now at the spa?

So we all knew that a man would get his cock out in front of women and little girls in a changing room at some point. And we would be told that the toddlers should just get over their bigotry.

Anyway, I was wondering why we haven't heard from all the slebs who have be parroting the TWAW line. Has anyone heard? Has anyone come out and and defended this brave penis? (Which I bet was a little bit hard as it sat exposing itself to a changing room full of women and little girls.)

Emma Watson? Sarah Silverman? Daniel Radcliffe? Why so quiet?

I listen to a few podcasts from comedians based in LA and I am always saddened to hear the casual way that LA millennials have decided that JKR is now toxic. Haven't heard anything about this yet from all of them.

Or am I being unfair?

@ArabellaScott

Yes, flashing is a sort of entry level way of coercing women to participate in sex act. Red flags all over the place.

But if you believe TWAW, then transwomen are perfectly okay to use a nude female only space where children are present, yes?

And 'transitioning' or 'intending to transition' means saying one identifies as a woman. That's it. Ones genitals/facial hair has no bearing on the situation.

so:

How do we distinguish a transwoman from a flasher?

Do you have an answer, yeahbutnaw?

I was debating on reddit yesterday, and I suggested my opponent look at a Gender Critical video and tell me where the factual inaccuracies or reasoning fails were.

Interestingly all of the trans people on the video were anomolies / extreme examples. I did not get an answer to how I tell the good trans people from the bad trans people.

I went and watched another video where a trans woman spent over an hour talking about how trans women are men and that single sex spaces need protecting because you cannot change sex.

@FijiCavanaugh

Incredible that *@yeahbutnaw* is denying it happened when there were a number of women complaining at the same time and the staff defending the policy. Plus the reviews showing it happening previously in the same spa.

Presumably it is an evil feminist conspiracy long in the making.

Do you also think Yaniv and Karen White are imaginary?

I'm going to need timestamps for the "number of women complaining at the same time" because that's not in the video I watched. I did see her encourage other people to ask for a refund though.

From the viral video woman's Instagram.

Definitely not a false flag op though, right?

@EvilPromPrincess

Original 90s Salem, or new Netflix Salem? I don't know anything of New Salem, but from what Netflix has been pushing lately I would assume they are a nonbinary celebrity cat. And that you're a total bigot for assuming zir's gender.
I don't want to watch anymore to find out, lasted the first few minutes, I want the old Sabrina back.

Never listening on here again about watching re-makes.

My comment was in relation to the OP to explain why celebrities are not rushing to support a man who commits a sexual assault. I’m surprised you would expect anyone to defend that?

Because if they’re so committed to the cause, they should be fully able to articulate what makes this sexual assault - or not, in the eyes of people like Laurie Penny - and not just a transwoman trying to live their best life. Should be easy, shouldn’t it? Penny managed it by saying the child shouldn’t be looking. If they think it’s sexual assault they should condemn it as such, which equally should be easy.

It’s almost as if it’s not easy to do either without looking like a apologist for sexual predators or a massive hypocrite, hence easier to say nothing.

Why would they come out to defend this guy? I though they were in support of trans woman not sexual predators?
Explain to me how women and girls are supposed to tell the difference when the person enters their changing room?

Single sex spaces work to safeguard by keeping ALL men out because of the minority who are sexual predators, and because the receptionist who lets them in can't tell the difference between the good and bad people either.*

I don’t believe anyone (women, girls, men or boys) can tell who a sexual predator is. Not sure why you ask me to explain that?

But gratifying to see you implicit admission that this policy means that sexual predators can now enter spaces where women and girls are naked and vulnerable.

How do you feel about that?*

I didn’t suggest that their policy prevents male sexual predators entering women only spaces. Not sure why you think I was being implicit? I was commenting on the OP about why celebrities aren’t supporting sexual assault. I’m surprised that anyone would want someone to support men who do this.

LittleNibbler · 05/07/2021 12:32

@yeahbutnaw

Could it be that there's no evidence that it actually happened?

That it has all of the signs of a false flag operation? A woman who has a long history of anti-LGBT rhetoric on her Instagram decided to go to a spa known for being an LGBT hotspot... just randomly?

That she complained about children being exposed but no parents came forward to complain? That she didn't have a child with her?

That she filmed the entire encounter but conveniently cuts the video off before "confronting" the trans person?

Oh yeah... manufactured outrage. Just like the Wispa.

What about the other women in the video who were complaining and asking for their money back? Surely they aren’t all in on this conspiracy that someone on Twitter has decided it is? Because let’s face it, that’s where you have got the lines you are repeating, from that person on Twitter who is complaining about this woman because she does a lot of bible quotes.
moreofthisagain · 05/07/2021 12:32

@ Datun It's because transwomen are women

But even if you believe that, that doesn't change the fact that letting TW into changing rooms etc, also lets in the sexual predators/ voyeurs. That's my point. That's the very fact based point based on generations of knowledge of how sexual predators operate. Everyone knows or can quickly work out that this is true. So why don't they care? And why won't they clearly articulate why they don'y care?

HecatesCatsInFancyHats · 05/07/2021 12:28

None of them meant any of that Me Too posturing.

They think they meant it, they're just not prepared to mentally 'put the work in' - as they're so fond of saying.

Etorih · 05/07/2021 12:27

Yes, it's becoming increasingly difficult to live as an LGBT person.

I'm sure it is for those genuine people who have some level of respect for safeguarding.

We're constantly tarnished with disinformation campaigns just like this one.

Plenty of witnesses there would indicate this is not disinformation at all. A transwoman did it seems, get their cock and balls out in front of women and children. The receptionist even acknowledged that they were aware that person was there. It's unlikely a whole group of women would pile out of the area, shaking, upset and demanding their money back, for no reason at all.

And you're helping to spread them - thereby making our lives harder. Thanks.

We can't ignore behaviour that pushes women and children to ignore their boundaries and put them at risk. This is a safeguarding issue. Do you think it's ok for those with male bodies to get their junk out in front of women and children? If you don't think it's ok then why can't you say so? Or do you think the needs of male bodied adults to live their 'true' life, is more important than safeguards for women and children?

TedImgoingmad · 05/07/2021 12:26

The celebs are silent, because the likes of Sarah Paulson simply cannot square their support of the Me Too movement with the support of dicks out in the women's locker room and sauna. Fundamentally, how is a dick out against the will of a female actor wrong during a casting interview, but a dick out against the will of the same women in a spa OK? It has absolutely nothing to do with "transgender". If Weinstein had claimed he was a woman, would that have been ok? If he was a harmless, free spirited soul, who was just more comfortable without his trousers on, would that have been ok? No and no. He'd still have been wagging his dick in the face of an unwilling woman. It's fundamentally about boundaries, safeguarding and decency - i.e., not being subject to the genitalia of the opposite sex without your express permission, no matter what their inner soul/identity might be.

Datun · 05/07/2021 12:15

@moreofthisagain

I don't get how people are not acknowledging the obvious safeguarding concerns. Even if you whole heartedly believe that TWAW, that doesn't stop you from acknowledging the very obvious fact that if you open up a massive loophole to allow any sexually voyeuristic/ predatory/ paedophile to enter spaces where women and children are naked, then they will enter.

Do they genuinely not care? Or do they care more about being seen as progressive than about safeguarding women and girls? Or do they think the TW are more important and that the fallout for women and girls is acceptable collateral damage? Or did they just never care much about women and girls in the first place?

The one thing they cannot claim, and expect anyone to believe, is that they genuinely believe that there is no risk to women and girls. Not after all the sexual abuse scandals and Me Too.

It's because transwomen are women. They just have a different genital configuration. All those articles about how the penis attached to a transwoman, has a completely different 'mouth feel' and you should therefore just get over your 'genital preferences'.

It will not be acknowledged that they are a different sex. Nor that it is the sex which constitutes the overwhelming majority of sexual offenders.

There is no acceptance, or even recognition, that there are two cohorts in conflict.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 05/07/2021 12:11

So if the spas, etc are not going to address it, maybe a boycott (more male centric language) would hit them where it hurts, in the pocket. I realise this isn't ideal, but it would only be for a short time until perhaps some other 'solution' was found?

Not even gonna dignify YeahbutNaw's trollery. You can't negotiate with stupid.

I'll say it again. "If you still have a willy, you're a Billy, not a Jilly". Transitioning to Jilly notwithstanding, the place for transitioning is the mixed section of the spa.

@HecatesCatsInFancyHats

Or do they think the TW are more important and that the fallout for women and girls is acceptable collateral damage?

A British judge said as much last week.

The way all of this ideology has shown the deep deep-rooted cultural misogyny genuinely upsets me.

None of them meant any of that Me Too posturing.

Sophoclesthefox · 05/07/2021 12:04

So I just want to check I’ve got this.

In principle, it’s perfectly Ok for fully grown adult males to plonk down naked next to naked pre teen girls, as long as they identify as women, but anyone who says that happened could only be a right wing religious shill with dishonest motives who has made it up to make trans people look bad.

I’d say it’s laughable, but I’m horrified.

Nailed it.
TrifleCat · 05/07/2021 11:52

No decent, innocent man would get his genitals out in front of women and little girls. And no decent person who genuinely cares about women and girls and understands safeguarding would defend this behaviour

This needs saying, repeatedly.

334bu · 05/07/2021 11:48

Obviously someone hasn't watched the video, where it is obvious that lots of other women have hastily vacated the area and others are complaining to the management.
Allowing males into areas where women are naked is bound to result in situations like this and trying to minimise it is neither progressive or worthy of respect.

EvilPromPrincess · 05/07/2021 11:40

@ClarrieGrundy

Def old school 90s Sabrina. I love a bit of Melissa Joan Hart.

I wonder what she thinks of all this?

She just actually did a kids show where she played the mom. No Good Nick, it had a trans girl playing one of the female characters who would complain about males and mansplaining that sort of thing. Grin
