What are all the liberal celebs so quiet now at the spa?

So we all knew that a man would get his cock out in front of women and little girls in a changing room at some point. And we would be told that the toddlers should just get over their bigotry.

Anyway, I was wondering why we haven't heard from all the slebs who have be parroting the TWAW line. Has anyone heard? Has anyone come out and and defended this brave penis? (Which I bet was a little bit hard as it sat exposing itself to a changing room full of women and little girls.)

Emma Watson? Sarah Silverman? Daniel Radcliffe? Why so quiet?

I listen to a few podcasts from comedians based in LA and I am always saddened to hear the casual way that LA millennials have decided that JKR is now toxic. Haven't heard anything about this yet from all of them.

Or am I being unfair?

Sadly I think we all know where she would start.

OldTurtleNewShell · 06/07/2021 16:17

@Etorih

TWAW Emma comment on this? Oh no, she's far too busy campaigning against online abuse of women

Oh the fucking irony 🤣🙄

Ha yes. If Watson genuinely wants to campaign against abuse online, I think we all know where she can start.
ClarrieGrundy · 06/07/2021 15:54

I can forgive Emma Watson if she is just a bit thick. Otherwise, I find her actions deplorable.

The shifting defenses of this incident are quite illuminating:
No evidence it happened > okay, she said it happened but she's lying > Okay, something happened but she's exaggerating.
Tale as old as time. Pretty sure all of us on the FWR boards are tired of this particularly tune.

MysteriousBoneOfContention · 06/07/2021 09:59

@yeahbutnaw

From the viral video woman's Instagram.

Definitely not a false flag op though, right?

Are you claiming she must be a liar because she's Christian? That's a bit offensive, do you not think?

Perfectly likely she felt she could speak up because there are a lot of practicing Christians in America. It's a lot more difficult to speak up if you're from a liberal community and don't want to be ostracised for saying the emperors has no clothes covering her schlong.

ClarrieGrundy · 06/07/2021 07:25

So nothing from Stonewall, or Mermaids, or the fragrant Emma Watson.

I’m shocked!

OP posts:
NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 23:59

Nothing on mermaids, they're a children's charity.

Expected something!

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 23:57

Scrolled back a fair bit and can't see anything on stonewall Twitter

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 23:55

I can't find an article on PN.

I expected to TBH.

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 23:55

What has PN said? I'll have a look.

RedDogsBeg · 05/07/2021 23:26

@NiceGerbil

There's nothing for them to defend.

Acceptance without exception and TWAW.

Surely it's something to celebrate.

I expected more posts saying we've won what an awesome brave woman tbh

Indeed NiceGerbil you would have thought they'd have got the bunting out wouldn't you.

It's an idea men have from porn.

Yes it is.

BatmansBat · 05/07/2021 23:13

I have to say, there is a possibility that Scandinavian men have more sex… They do a much higher proportion of housework and child rearing. Scandinavian women are less exhausted 🤣. British men should try it!

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 22:51

@HecatesCatsInFancyHats

Well yes, as it should be. I was really just pointing out that the idea that some have of Scandinavian countries as some kind of prude free utopia in which they have achieved both sexual liberation and equality of the sexes (with no boundaries being overstepped) is a massive oversimplification.

@BatmansBat

Another note on Sweden, sex without consent is rape.

Someone who is asleep, drugged, drunk or have a diminished mental capacity (long guidance on capacity) is unable to give consent.

Have sex with a very drunk girl and it is considered rape.

Same as law here (England Wales).

Not that it gets acted on by the police, which is s problem.

@Helleofabore

That she complained about children being exposed but no parents came forward to complain? That she didn't have a child with her?

Which parents would come forward knowing that they are likely to have the media's focus directly on them or their child?

Sounds to me like the same old agenda, deny, deny, deny. It never happens, it only is a tiny number of people so what is the problem, it happened only once...

And if that doesn't work, let's undermine the credibility of the person reporting. So far this morning I have read 'that woman is even worse than any male having their genitals within a metre of a 9 year old girl because she videoed in the reception area of a spa where some people were fully dressed or covered and had no expectation of being able to be naked in the reception area'. From someone on another thread.

And now this woman has been ascribed an ulterior motive in attending a spa by yeahbutnaw. A woman who has a long history of anti-LGBT rhetoric on her Instagram decided to go to a spa known for being an LGBT hotspot... just randomly?

So, she has manufactured outrage. Just like the Wispa.

Please do continue. It is hugely revealing to the many who will read this thread.

But in the video there were children there, looking scared!
Tabasco007 · 05/07/2021 22:37

@yeahbutnaw

Could it be that there's no evidence that it actually happened?

That it has all of the signs of a false flag operation? A woman who has a long history of anti-LGBT rhetoric on her Instagram decided to go to a spa known for being an LGBT hotspot... just randomly?

That she complained about children being exposed but no parents came forward to complain? That she didn't have a child with her?

That she filmed the entire encounter but conveniently cuts the video off before "confronting" the trans person?

Oh yeah... manufactured outrage. Just like the Wispa.

But the TW in question posted on twitter that they were the person that was in the spa, and was hurt and outraged that they had been misgendered, whilst being naked with cock and balls in front of women and children. Surely you are aware of this ?
NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 22:31

Agree that it's really difficult to compare stats.

Different crime definitions, levels of reporting, police response etc.

BatmansBat · 05/07/2021 22:25

And it is hard to compare sexual assault statistics between countries (different levels of reporting, different thresholds for offence, etc).

There has been an increase in sexual offences in Sweden, but the reasons are not straightforward.

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 22:24

Finland there is a massive social / cultural importance around sauna.

There are norms around when sauna is mixed sex. Many have home saunas which are used by the family and mixed sex.

So if you see mixed sex sauna is normal in Finland. Yes. If you're with your grandparents aunties in laws etc.

NiceGerbil · 05/07/2021 22:21

When USA people go on about how 'europe' has all this mixed sex stuff and it's great because they're less prudish they are talking out their arses.

Places where there is mixed sex sauna etc there are MASSIVE and hugely socially enforced standards of etiquette and behaviour. Or norms around who is in there together.
