EmbarrassingAdmissions Yes please, I've just dashed in, very soggy and hoping for one. Rather disconcerting to want one in August but this emotion has become all too familiar in recent years and I care not it's summer!
Whisky, lemon and cloves when piping hot often does the trick.

There's a range of sausages (vegan through to usual), some potato bakes, baked potato, mash etc. plus assorted vegetables and gravies available from 18:30.

Something I saw on MN but haven't tracked down - there are routers you can control from your phone. Yes, you could block access to others if it came to it.

@Chickenyhead use the hairdryer on the bites. A tip I got from MN - you blow dry each bite until it's just too hot to handle. Wait a minute then do it again. Kills the itch. Really works.

Can't say there is a similar magic cure for over talking family though Sad

I had similar this week, but my snapping to shut them up, resulted in DH sulking and leaving the room. For the whole evening 💁‍♀️

Yep, thinking about moving tv and also changing internet password, as I pay for it.

Also, just moving into caravan, outside. But seems a retrogade step, tbh and not so comfy!

Nasty escalation tonight, I dared to say "blah blah blah" to "D" H and child tonight as they talked down and over a tv programme I wanted to watch on my big tv downstairs, and and then had walk away to lock my self away after they gave me a load of verbal abuse.
Am safe, but omg am so stressed.

Voles in bag as we speak Molly I have added a duster so they wont have to start from scratch. Covered their ears at the mention of cat, even though I said Amazing Maurice and didn't use the term cat. Obvs. word gets around so now The Amazing, Famous Maurice. I have given them a sedative for the journey. Pop your postcode in a DM and I'll shuffle down to the post office with them. They have also been supplied with cycle helmets and knee pads in case things get bumpy on the journey. Glad to see the back of the little sh*ts thb
