bloody school knickers Autumn did we go to the same school? I will be having nightmares tonight. Gym slips and obligatory sash (of house colours). All waiting with bated breath for the judgement? Not TAAT

Spring crocus = one bloomer Autumn crocus = one bloomer 1+1=2. Two blooms = one pair of bloomers.

When I was in school (a naice gals school for naice gals in case you were wondering) we had to wear two pairs of knickers. White cotton underneath and furry navy ones on top WITH A POCKET. Never quite worked that out.

A vat of alcohol please

Just got ultra woke mid twenties DD back from Uni for the next 12 weeks.

Two hours in, cue a screaming tantrum from her, because I (very gently and politely) wouldn't go along with her quite aggressively demands about a gender issue.
She is high functioning ASD, but goddess, she's doing a PhD, has lived independently for the last 6 years, seems to be able to cope irl

Why do I get the screaming? And wtf should I have to agree TW are W?

She has a biology degree and MSc, ffs. She knows you can't change sex

oh, and she now has blue hair. Not that I'm bothered. Which I think is what annoyed her the most!

Alcohol. All the alcohol, please.

Oooh chips! Thank you. I’ve been listening to Posie podcasts in the car, and Glinner with JDW whilst cooking dinner. I now need to find a quiet corner to sit in with a cold drink and a guitar whilst I try to make sense of it all.

I'm making cocktails for a party this weekend and I recommend my Rhubarb Cooler - 2 shots vodka, 2 shots strawberry liqueur, 1 shot lemon juice and a can of Cawstons Press over ice.

I have had a stressful week and and am enjoying a nice Adnams. Despite all resolutions to the contrary, I've had both chocolate and alcohol this evening.

I normally love my job but it's a shit-show at the moment. I cannot wait for the end of term.

I'll go and cuddle the Camel, and wait for the fish and chips to turn up.

Thursday is nearly the weekend isn't it? As it's a BBQ I'm going to lower the tone from the French cocktails to a rum and coke. Having a nostalgic visit back to the 90's with my preferred end of the evening pick me up.
