Looks like the Voles have buggered off. I'm getting prepared for our Art Trail, so I have lists on lists on lists but not much action on anything else. I did send some stuff off for framing yesterday and ordered some frames online. DD has offered to help - I wonder if she fancies taking charge?

Sorry I missed the roast, has Gertrude eaten everything? (she's a bloody goat, of course she has)

There'll be a roast dinner rolling service starting at 12:30.

No brunch - the weather's miserable here so everyone wanted roast dinner.

All welcome. There's duck, lamb, beef, and some stuffed portobello mushrooms. Mountains of roast potatoes, wide assortment of vegetables and other potatoes, and several gravies.

Pudding is an assortment of crumbles, pies, fruit salad with a range of sauces, creams etc.

Talk to the bar about the best accompaniments because they know what matches what.

I was looking for some stuff on my laptop and stumbled across my correspondence with the LibDems about those Olde Worlde things, women.

I'd forgotten how enraging it all was. Three emails to Ed Davey, no reply. Fourth email to Ed Davey, patronising and short reply from some spod which didn't answer a single one of my questions and quacked on about how the LibDems stood for equality, as if I had said I didn't. No reply to my reply to that, saying I was leaving the party. Nothing about how they value their members and don't like to lose them - nope.

Fuckers.

FWR is a good place where I can remember that I am not mad, and that it's the LibDems and not me who have gone right through the looking glass.

Sat on arse again when I should be preparing space for the shopping to come. Rather more than I wanted as I fell asleep instead of editting it. Too tired after packing up the holiday house, driving home and unpacking the car. Then I got up in the middle of the night to eat tea and put the stuff away in the fridge...

The board looks not so inspiring today. Hiding in here instead. Waiting for good news. I suppose the support for glinner should be good news and the interview on R4 this morning when the green party bod was challenged.
