Should Muslim women be forced to give beauty treatments to males?

Also, manicures and pedicures are different services from waxing and massages so it is not unlikely that the services are provided by different people.

Their Treat well site is pretty clear it’s female only. I can’t help but think they’ve been deliberately targeted.

I messaged the studio on social media giving my support and got a lovely message back. I also know where I’ll be going for my next lot of treatments.

I can't find anything on their website which says manicures are only for women- maybe I missed the small print but the website has pictures of men and offers massage and waxing for men.

I can't find anything on their web site that says that their beauty services are unisex. It does seem to be a unisex hair studio but not unisex beauty services. Important distinction.

Then why portray a man getting a massage or offer in their list male waxing? Looking at their price list/booking they seem to not know as some are ladies only and some not They seem happy to allow male massage and male waxing and many other services don't state any sex restriction.

The problem with that is it could be interpreted in the same way it says 'girls toys' over the doll aisle ie services that are stereotypically female rather than only available to women.

No one performing personal care services of any kind is obliged to do so on ANYONE for ANY reason. ANY REASON AT All wether man, woman or llama.

I'm not sure that's true. Legally, a manicurist refusing to perform a service on someone on the grounds that they were black, for example, would be on dodgy ground.

Correct, but as well we know, legally required is provision for single sex services, also provision for services to be limited according to religious grounds. So in this instance, a female can refuse to perform an intimate service on a male, because he’s male, or because she’s Muslim.

They offer body waxes for men and their website definitely looks as if it is genuinely unisex.

When you go to the link to book in Treatwell, it refers to ‘ladies’ nail services, and also has men’s wax services separate from ladies.

It’s a bit inconsistent, but makes it fairly obvious that the nail services are for ‘ladies’.

Yes it is. If the person providing the personal service has a reason for not wanting to. No person is obliged to touch another in ANY CAPACITY for ANY REASON.

Actually, I imagine it is more they take offense at stupid comments like this.

It'd would be really great if people stopped equating veganism with gender ideology. Vegans life choices don't negatively impact on other people's sex based rights.
