thestrayferret.co.uk/harrogate-paedophile-jailed-for-22-years-for-86-sex-attacks/

At least they haven't got a GRC, so 🤞will not be sent to a womens prison. Or is that a vain hope?

Hope the brave victims find some peace after the conviction 💐

He doesn't even have a GRC. There's no obligation to call this paedophile anything other than what he is. A man.

[quote NotTerfNorCis]Another one for the record.

MAN

"A Sexual Harm Prevention Order is under [&%] new name, but it is not clear whether [*&] will serve time in men's or women's prison."

AlfonsoTheUnrepentant · 22/12/2021 20:10

I notice that the perp is wearing a sunflower lanyard. I wonder what the condition is that entitles them to do so.

Eyesofdisarray · 20/05/2021 13:33

On the same daily mail headline above is an article about lgbt lego- all but one are gender neutral. Interesting 🤣

MrsOvertonsWindow · 19/05/2021 18:43

The Mail are reporting these dreadful crimes with an accurate headline:

www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9596003/Transgender-woman-sexually-abused-girls-young-four-jailed-22-years.html

ScrollingLeaves · 19/05/2021 12:53

“YetAnotherSpartacus

So sad that one of the victims reported this 20 years ago and was brushed off”

Yes, and then the defence says “No previous convictions”!

EndoplasmicReticulum · 19/05/2021 12:38

Adverstiser report here:

www.harrogateadvertiser.co.uk/news/crime/evil-harrogate-paedophile-jailed-for-abusing-young-girls-over-17-year-period-3240790

mix of pronouns and the headline at least has transgender in front of "woman".

DisposableNamechange · 18/05/2021 22:12

Hopefully will be picked up by nationals too then.

(I also think the ferret is doing a great job.)

AyeRobot · 18/05/2021 21:54

NiceGerbil, you're absolutely right about the behaviours that are not illegal but are totally about power and causing discomfort. And, of course, if challenged the reaction is either aggressive or with accusations of having no sense of humour / not being able to take a compliment / wide eyed innocence. Same old, same old.

It was the only place yesterday, so glad it's been picked up elsewhere today.

York Press have it today too www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/19310627.vile-dangerous-harrogate-paedophile-behind-bars/ though it's the same wording as the Argus. Still far too many references to "she".

I have to say, Stray Ferret are doing some actual proper journalism and holding the local council to account, which is more than the Advertiser has done for years (if ever).

It isn’t the only place it’s been reported.

@Eyesofdisarray

Why oh why refer to this person as female? They're laughing at us. Sickening, absolutely sickening
It is sickening, in fact it's repulsive. Care about VAWG do you politicians, Judges, Police? No you fucking don't.

@WarriorN

It's the ultimate validation.
It's also plays into the hands of MRA'S who can now see the crime statistics and shout "See woman are just as bad as men". Proof positive if any were needed that this whole agenda is driven by men for the benefit of men, you couldn't fit a cigarette paper between a TRA and an MRA.

WarriorN · 18/05/2021 07:18

This particularly

*The lack of concern for the levels of violence and sexual violence in the male estate really bothers me.

This is an LBTQ+ issue isn't it. I would guess that gay men or men who other men perceive to be gay could well be at risk in men's prisons. What about them stonewall and the others?

Why are they not fighting to make prison safer for gender non conforming, non binary and gay men?

This comes up over and over again.

It's always about forcing women to accept some males in their previously single sex stuff and safety is usually the reason cited.

What about the other LGBT+ males?

Why do they NEVER fight for solutions which would help trans people, and also homosexual people, and also loads of other people as well?

Why don't they care about any of the other letters apart from T (and TW at that).*

WarriorN · 18/05/2021 07:17

Great post gerbil.

NiceGerbil · 18/05/2021 02:11

Rapists have been housed in the women's estate before. Without a GRC. With predictable results.

That whole policy to me reads as an attempt to appease both sides of the 'debate'. And so leaves some very big questions.

For me there's the stuff I mentioned earlier.

But the thing that's missed. That's always missed. Or not missed but set aside. In all manner of conversations. Whether it's about segregated bogs/ changing. Or about sexual harassment by men on the street. Or the always trivialised wolf whistling. And on and on.

Is the fact that a worryingly large minority of men get a kick out of making women and girls feel uncomfortable/ scared/ upset. And loads do it without crossing the line into illegal acts.

Staring for example. That's not illegal. But a man or men just watching you. Silent. It's very scary. I used to walk past a building site when I was a girl and all the men would go quiet. Stop what they were doing. Stop talking. It would fall quiet and they would just stare. Watch me. I found that terrifying.
Looking at people is not illegal.

Neither is standing too close. Slowly looking up and down. I doubt it's illegal to have an erection if you don't get it out. It's not illegal to strike up conversation, ask personal questions. Etc etc.

That's the sort of thing they call microaggressions I think? Not so micro.

Loads of males enjoy doing all this. And they know where the line is.

To have transwomen who have sexually offended against women and girls mixing with the rest of the prisoners so they don't miss out or something. They are protecting the main estate from these (in their own words) transwomen offenders who present a risk to 'other' women. That means they won't give the opportunity to assault or rape. What about all the other things that women know so well, when it comes to enjoying female discomfort at sexual threat?

RedDogsBeg · 18/05/2021 01:39

Lisa Nandy will be in his corner fighting for him to put into the female prison estate I'm sure, also sure Lisa will have a really good explanation and justification for his victims and the women he will be incarcerated with as to why - can't wait to hear it.

RedDogsBeg · 17/05/2021 23:25

Can't definitively say he will be jailed in a female prison tentosix but the odds are extremely high given the recent report by Fair Play For Women where it details how all decisions are about the rights of the man who feels like a woman no mention of the rights of the women they are incarcerated with natch. Plus the case under Judicial Review where the MoJ said they aren't allowed to ask if someone has a GRC so take it on trust and hence put high risk male paedophile rapists in the female estate if they say the magic words "I identify as a woman.

Marvellous isn't it? But then we were assured this would never happen so it obviously isn't happening and we are just making it all up and being mean.

tentosix · 17/05/2021 22:08

Am I totally wrong in assuming a man with a penis assaulted several young girls, presumably with his penis, is now being jailed in a women's prison because he's grown his hair and calls himself Jessica?

DisposableNamechange · 17/05/2021 22:01

@AyeRobot

It's also the only place it's been reported.
Is it really? That’s shocking.
DisposableNamechange · 17/05/2021 21:59

And the people he lived amongst aren’t pissing round respecting pronouns either, commenting on the Facebook story.
