Did anyone see the video where Silverman bashes Caitlyn Jenner for saying transgirls should not compete in girls' competitions?

Some nuggets:

"She's been making amends since it happened and learning from trans people to do better. She's one of far too few celebs willing to own their shit and grow beyond it."

It is all about the trans community. The fact that this impacts woman is not entertained for even a split second. Additionally, the now standard "learned" is used a lot. Obviously the only way to disagree with gender ideology is by being 'uneducated'. This is very asinine framing.

Kool Aid All Gone. The fanaticism of SS is mesmerizing, and terribly embarrassing to watch all at the same time. I hope one of her good friends can peak her one day.

I love Janice too. She makes me think of some of the grotesque characters in Roald Dahl who simply exist for you to laugh at snootily because they are, not one of us (horror!) ie. they are lower middle class unsophisticated try hards and therefore naturally hilariously awful.

poor Janice, I've done her a disservice..! Admit I've never been a fan of Friends but watched enough to know the names and preferences - dinosaurs, one's tidy, one likes cats etc.

Just too good and too perfect and too funny. Kind of felt tricked watching something with such good timing (I know, weird). Ross being so whiny always put me off as well.

Poor Janice, I shall never think that SS reminds me of her again...Grin

Maybe she is - who knows? Maybe even she doesn't know! The whole thing is so mad.

I don't know how anyone can see what's happening and support TW in women's sports - but it's even harder to understand taking that position against someone who is both a TW and an elite athlete. I mean how can't she see that CJ is supremely qualified to comment and knows far more about it than her?

True, just that's who I always hear when I see SS - but not in a negative way, until now. Wouldn't expect Janice to necessarily have thought through all the implications, I expect she might be open minded when explained though!

It's funny how I've gone off so many people over this issue. They've revealed themselves as utterly vacuous and unquestioning idiots, repeating whatever the current dogma is for public approval. I'm sure SS actually means well, but her ignorance and internalised misogyny is showing.

I think people like her concentrate so much on the tone of voice and presentation that they forget to check if the content is utter shite 😀 Always the same flaring nostrils, widely swivelling eyes with lots of glances upward, the same hectoring tone...

She reminded me of that Jeffrey (Marsh??) person on Twitter. Funnier with the sound turned down so the staring and raving facial expressions can shine.
