Girl pushed under train.

They are not suppose to step in, when I was abused on a bus I called to complain about the driver for not doing anything and was told they weren’t suppose to step in and if I felt threatened i should have called the police 🤷‍♀️ So the same probably applies to the guard

The guard was trying to clear a dangerous gang of youths on bikes from a carriage. I don’t know how anyone could face doing work like that for the type of pay he probably gets.

I think the guard’s view of what was happening to the girls was obscured - and he was still trying to get others from the gang off the train.

I imagine too that the guard was trying to manage the situation - as there was probably one or two guards against an out of control gang - he would probably have been attacked himself if he failed to manage it right and that would have helped no one. The gang would enjoy if the guard intervened so they could square up to him and abuse him too.

I just wish there was consequences for these boys but there isn’t and they know they can do what they want.

I don’t like the thought of my daughter or my son having to encounter people like this when they start using public transport alone. It makes me feel like I want to drive them everywhere for life but that is not realistic.

What the hell have I just watched??? Horrifying and heartbreaking in equal measure. When did this type of behaviour become normal.

None of the girls that were spat at or verbally abused seemed to react apart from to swerve. It’s as if they are used to being treated like this. Awful, just awful and shocking.

That is horrific. Good god something dramatic needs to happen to put a stop to violence against women. How utterly utterly stupid and senseless do you have to be to kick someone under a train? What the hell were they getting out of it, kicking out at all those girls?

I've seen the whole video on Twitter @Thelnebriati and 3 girls are assaulted from what I saw - it's not the same girl who gets shoved under the train - one girl is punched and another is kicked in the face (in the still you've attached) and a third girl is shoved down onto the tracks.

Watching the guard just stand there made me so bloody frustrated!

A good public beating is what savages like this deserve. Sadly, its most likely the only thing to make them think twice, as they are afraid of nothing and no one ..That or into the army for 10 years compulsory service and a lot of tough love. We have done the youth of today no favours at all by removing all sorts of rules and consequences for their actions. The there there pet brigade have a lot to answer for, in my opinion.

Seems to be a huge problem in seaside townships in Dublin. Access on Dart from city centre to Howth Malahide Bray and Greystones increased today to 50% capacity. This is only going to get worse. Terrible invasion for locals

Not sure if any of you have seen the longer video where the girl is pulled back up onto the platform by security and the security guy drops to his knees and leans against g the wall for support afterwards.

Dragged up little scrotes. These teenage gangs have really gotten out of hand around Dublin.

They kicked, spat at and harassed all the girls trying to get on that train. Just a snapshot of the treatment that so many young women get on a daily basis.

The person whose tweet is linked to on the OP has another video on her feed from two days ago of a group of boys attacking girls. What on earth is going on in Dublin?

Wee scrotes hanging about in gangs are a problem in certain areas of the city. No parenting, no boundaries and no legal consequences. They'll start on anyone they perceive as weak as a pp says.

Shocking that boys are laughing when she is kicked. Never mind potential to cause death after falling under the train. Hope they can some serious young offender time.

There is a petition at Change to try and ensure that the identified male feels the consequence of his actions. I don't know if I can link but is findable by his name.

It seems that they do not see the girls as human. I would be very concerned about a group as detached about others as this. And so young. They have no fear and no empathy.

I hope that's the end of that little bastard's potential career.
