Harvie hates women is trending on Twitter

Following comments to a caller on a BBC radio show by Patrick Harvie, the leader of the Scottish Greens, it would seem that Harvie Hates Women is trending on twitter.

Obviously a lot of transphobic groups aren't funded by the far right.

He's the leader of the Scottish Greens and was appearing on BBC Radio with Stephen Jardine, I think it was. He was asked by a female caller why women should vote green given his support for the Hate Crimes Bill and opposition to the Forensic Services amendment which allowed women to ask for a female examiner in rape cases as well as other statements he's made. He said feminist groups in Scotland supported his view, that women who didn't were transphobes funded by the alt right and that women's spaces and sports should include all women and that includes transwomen. It seems to have caused a bit of a stir.
