Anyone fancy co-parenting with LOJ?

Owen Jones wants a baby, and would like a lesbian couple to impregnate. Any takers on mumsnet? He could be quite a catch for someone looking for a sperm donor and a co-parent to raise a well balanced child.
He got a bit of flack, so is doubling down on the the "anti-trans cult" and calling everyone homophobic.

Isn't Little Owen being transphobic here? Owen's opinion is trans women are women but he's making the assumption lesbians will be the suitable candidate .There are lesbians for whom it is absolutely physically impossible to become pregnant.

He is also excluding trans men, hetero and homosexual, who obviously can and do get pregnant.

The inestimable value Owen jones would bring to any such arrangement is clearly not just the spaf. It is the once in a lifetime opportunity for the lucky lesbian couple to co-parent with him, because the two of them would not be sufficient.

I have no problem in principle with a gay man & lesbians coparenting, I know a couple of families where that’s worked very well.

Me neither. I just think he's looking for a fight and deliberately goading women.

I don’t see why GC people are mad at him (if they are really are) it’s not like he’s looking for a surrogate.

I personally wouldn’t choose OJ as a father for a child, she understated, but there are advantages to a known father over an anonymous sperm donor, so there’s nothing wrong with the idea in principle if he manages to find a lesbian couple who don’t know that personality is highly heritable.

I sympathise with Owen Jones if he wants a baby. I mean that.

I find it frustrating when people are clear about what a woman is when they want a baby, but who claim it's complicated the rest of the time.

I am capable of holding both thoughts in my head at once.

Owen Jones is very insistent that transwomen are women, & that lesbians who don’t welcome them to the community are bigots. But now he’s suddenly equating lesbians with biological women and appears blithely oblivious to his own hypocrisy.
