For some reason both the SWP and Women's Strike seem to be able to afford to have sponsored posts. And as usual f*book's great algorithm assumed I would be interested.
But what was heartening was to see women posting comments about just how insulting this was. And someone posted "Now I live in Brighton and this is how younger Left-leaning feminist-identifying women speak to each other."
I am getting seriously worried as to why we are bothering with education if this is the level of thought process among young people, particularly women. And those going into to debt to get a university education are somehow so stimilated by their encounter with academia that they start talking like this!

We need to resist the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill. It endangers the rights and safety of every single one of us, and particularly those who are at the sharped edge of state violence, including gypsy, roma and traveler communities, migrants, sex workers and racialised communities.
The bill is using “protecting women” as a cover to expand police powers and increase custodial sentence but this is not enough to prevent violence and is troubling given police officers’ implication in cases of violence against women.
There is no version of the bill that is tolerable.
We cannot let this bill pass, so we must take the streets!
