Sorry I don't have a share token.

Ugh, this is just awful. Those poor girls.

We've had some ghastly threads about the level of sexual harassment in schools here and it starts at such a young age - with girls of 5 years of age being told off by Playground Monitors for teasing boys when they attempted to report their assault.

@TheRabbitOfCaerbannog

I agree. It happened routinely at my comp. I do wonder if public schools have been more likely to close rank and hush things up. Don't want the paying customers to be upset.

I wouldn't be surprised.

Definitely not just public schools.

Boys from rich families, well connected and so with immense privilege are more likely to go on to positions of power.

Not just public schools. I think in general sexual harassment is just expected in schools - almost part of the growing up process Hmm

I suspect school is one of the places where the ability to sexually harass with impunity is reinforced in men.

Thanks for the link. That's a tough read.

I was just reading that article.
It's horrific, but it doesn't surprise me. I suspect public schools have been hotbeds for all sorts of appalling behaviour over many years.
