Govt LGBT+ advisors quit - criticising Liz Truss

EXCLUSIVE: The government is creating a "hostile environment" for LGBT+ people, according to its own equalities advisor.

Resigning in protest, @JayneOzanne accuses some of becoming "Ministers for Inequality", particularly over conversion therapy.

Lots of calls for Truss to go on Twatter as you can imagine. She's really hacked them off by standing up for women.

It is beginning to feel a bit like all out war and I'm assuming that's because we keep trampling through the courts and writing to MPs and governments.

Appears not. Paul Brand being briefed directly by Stonewall I suspect. Feels choreographed - especially in a week with so much going on in the courts.

Great. Hopefully more of the woke will quit and leave governing to people with sense. Liz Truss has hit jackpot here but please - she speaks little sense in many other matters. Let's not laud her

"We are seeking to appoint 9 members through an open competition. Successful applicants will be expected to spend up to 2 days a month on panel work and to attend quarterly meetings.
An additional 3 members will be directly appointed from Stonewall, the LGBT Foundation and the LGBT Consortium, so as to represent the breadth of the LGBT voluntary sector."

Can't help but notice a top Tweet in reply to the Tweet in your OP from Paris Lees - who has basically formed a career out of being trans, pretending to be horrified that anyone recording statistics should know they were born male.

How dare we know something Paris Lees makes sure we all know!

Liz Truss won't do what we tell her to do behind closed doors so we'll trash her in public. Straight out of the Stonewall playbook.
