Sorry to ask a potentially stupid question here, but... so if the judge is saying that people should record their sex as it appears on their birth certificate, does that not mean that a trans woman could record their sex as female, even though they were born male as they would have their birth certificate changed once they legally transitioned?

Yes. But they did point out that the real numbers could be extrapolated as they know how many GRCs there are. They would be statistically accounted for.

Even if you have already submitted your census answers. You can log back in and update/ammend/change your answers until the census closes, so no one will have any excuse.

Do you think it is worth making a seperate thread with that point?
