Irrelevant waffle.

jeaux90 · 01/03/2021 17:38

Crispin implying that the word mother is an entirely technical clarification in the Bill. Confused

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:38

the newspapers are carrying anti-trans stories without supporting evidence.

this amendment in a bill dealing with the maternity arrangements generating an extraordinary amount of debate 'out of nowhere' regarding a technical issue

LGB Alliance haven't got an interest in wider LGBT rights.

Trump is on about women in sport

Heritage Foundation - whaatt.

threats from trans people do not exist.

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:38

'but of course, I was very, very, drunk'

OvaHere · 01/03/2021 17:38

Christ Crispin Blunt is a knob.

Xanthangum · 01/03/2021 17:37

Tories have agreed to the changes. Labour support the changes.

Blunt is a Conservative. His blatherings sound ludicrous

BaronessWrongCrowd · 01/03/2021 17:37

I hope Johanna takes him to task.

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:37

The Heritage Foundation ? Is that a US term?

Donald Trump? WTF.

SantaNameChange · 01/03/2021 17:37

Having listened to the whole debate on Thursday this is so upsetting. What a nasty and stupid man he is.

BaronessWrongCrowd · 01/03/2021 17:37

Don't worry End, everyone can see what a twit he is.

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:36

Has he even used the word 'mother' yet?

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:36

more about 'what trans people are seeing'

Endofthelinefinally · 01/03/2021 17:36

I am just aghast at the arrogance and idiocy of this man.

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:36

he's on about the GRA reform, self-id, gender health services - whaattt

trans people under full on attack. In 'the other place' (HoL) they make it sound like the other way round - 'full on attack on women's rights' Lord Lucas needs to turn the ball around and see what it is like from the other side (trans rights)

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:35

A waffling eejit.

BaronessWrongCrowd · 01/03/2021 17:35

It's not about LGBT rights, Crispin, it's about WOMEN's rights. Which, although you won't recognise the fact - all biological women, no matter how they identify, come under. What a tool.

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:34

GRA?! What the fuck is this man on about?!!! This is MATERNITY

Xanthangum · 01/03/2021 17:34

Did Crispin Blunt just call Stonewall's refocus from LGB to T as 'rounding up the prisoners, tidying up' after winning the war?

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:34

'the war had been won' 'rounding up the prisoners' 'tidying up'

wtf is he on about?

this bill has nothing to do with LGBT (apart from tm and I don't think he thinks about them)

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:33

LGBT rights.... mentioned a bazillion times already

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:32

'trans and women's rights' - in that order, am I right, Crispin?

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:32

gahh Crispin Blunt - amendments....

ArabellaScott · 01/03/2021 17:32

OFFS it's Crispin to tell us about maternity

gardenbird48 · 01/03/2021 17:32

@Biscuitsanddoombar

Sorry garden! I don’t know why I typed Michelle there 😆
haha - too excited for names - sorry I might have got ahead of myself but I wasn't expecting them to even mention accepting the amendments.

It sounds like the house still needs to vote on it (is that right?) and maybe they will have to accept it as it is now in order to push it through in time?

exwhyzed · 01/03/2021 17:30

Cat Smith from Labour using the word woman lots and lots and lots
