Creator of “assigned male” comics is a “little”

Statement here. Basically a “little” is an adult baby fetish. Sophie draws their image as a young girl and fantasises about sleep overs with other little girls where they talk about their genitals. Anyone else think this has more red flags than a Chinese communist party shindig?

@HermioneWeasley

The comics depict Sophie’s character having made up sleep overs with little girls, and in at least one, they are discussing their genitals (Sophie explains to the girls that Sophie’s penis is just a big clitoris)
This one, I presume. Yeah that's weird.

Does this man think that women pee through the clitoris?

Wow.

Think of the money I wasted on a shewee for my camping trips.
Labelle is one of the trans activists who has been repeatedly saying that it's transphobic for someone not to want to date trans people:

twitter.com/LabelFreeBrands/status/1353650960430600192/photo/1
Does that also apply to transpeople who don't want to date transpeople?

@Mumofgirlswholiketoplaywithmud

It's the way that
 1. SL is celebrated as an author for children
 2. SL's mainstream drawings are designed to be appealing and "cute", so children like SL's pictures
 3. SL then does adult content in the same style
This. Clear as day.

Anyone defending this creep needs a good look at themselves.

cheeseismydownfall · 26/02/2021 16:15

Not vilifying someone's kink doesn't mean that we believe it is a good thing.

Accepting someone's kink exists doesn't mean that it we should celebrate it.

AfternoonToffee · 26/02/2021 16:10

Many many years ago whilst studying my A Levels, we had a discussion around this, art was fine, a photograph was not. This was before the internet boom so may have changed but I wonder if there is still something along the same lines. Often laws take a long time to catch up.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 26/02/2021 15:49

If a computer-generated indecent image of a person under the age of consent can be used in the UK to obtain a conviction of a paedophile, where does the law stand on human-generated indecent images of a person under the age of consent?

cheeseismydownfall · 26/02/2021 13:47

If everyone participating is of legal age and happy to be there, I don't care what people do in private.

I don't know if I agree with this or not.

Do I care about the idea of, for example, a group of men meeting in private to discuss their sexual desires for children? Sharing their fantasies about how they would like to abuse children?

Assuming no criminal act is being committed, that no actual children are being abused, do I decide not to care about what people do in private? Do I decide not to care if one of these men, with a spotless DBS check, is in a position of trust in a service for children?

I think I do care, actually, I think I care a great deal.

@Kettlingur

The gaslighting around this issue on twitter is truly a sight. I just saw someone saying, and I paraphrase, "Sophie Labelle has been blamed for some things, they are NOT true, and please don't google because if you google you might end up seeing her deadname."
I wonder when the Royal Society will be pressured to drop its motto: Nullius in verba?

Jane Clare Jones recently commented that a student had been asked to prepare something for a UK Trans Remembrance Day. The more the student researched the matter and examined various databases, the more baffled they were to learn that the UK does not resemble Brazil in such matters.

I'd be very sorry if people were being persuaded out of assessing information sources and researching matters appropriately.

It will inevitably be pushed, and pushed, until finally there is no choice but to draw the boundaries.

The homophobia of it is truly depressing. It's an argument based on 'you thought homosexuality was deviant, so if you're ok with that you have to accept this too as the same thing'.

No. It's really, really not the same thing. LGB people spent decades trying to get the general public to understand that homosexual people did not intrinsically have any different standards, morals or ethics to heterosexual people. It infuriates me, this claim that inappropriate behaviour is normal to LGB people, and to have boundaries against that behaviour is a rejection of homosexuality. LGB people aren't a human shield.

nauticant · 25/02/2021 20:49

I've been watching the way the wind is blowing on twitter. Weighing it up I'd say distinctly against Labelle. There are plenty of angry alphabet people, anime avatars, declared pronouns, furries, ageplayers, and DID identified who see this as extremely harmful publicity for the kink/trans/alternative identity umbrella.

PotholeParadies · 25/02/2021 18:23

*such drawings, not just

PotholeParadies · 25/02/2021 18:22

So someone may be seeking out images of young children, in order to use them as models to base sexual drawings on. Just drawings would be legally publishable, I presume.

Anyone defending this needs to think through the steps and the thought process that gets you from seeing a picture of a toddler going swimming to having an 18+ account (and attached patreon) that publishes artwork based on that picture.

OvaHere · 25/02/2021 13:26

For example, in the case of trans people, being a "little" is about reclaiming a lost childhood having had a "wrong sex" childhood.

I don't buy that explanation but even if I did this doesn't apply to Labelle who said in a post yesterday their chosen age role-play persona was that of a little boy.

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 25/02/2021 11:50

@manatsu

And being trans and having questionable kinks are emphatically NOT the same thing, as I'm sure any trans person would tell you. Labelle does not get to use their trans status as a shield here. I'm sick of this weird people who say they have a trans identity can apparently do whatever they want and be above reproach thing.
Absolutely.
Kettlingur · 25/02/2021 11:49

@JustTurtlesAllTheWayDown

Its clearly a lot more than that. I'm not going to link to the account (fairly sure I'll get deleted) and I'm sure as hell not going to share a screenshot, but the assigned male twitter account is retweeting from their 'alternative queer 18+' account and there are a lot worse drawings on there than the furry in the nappy, including one with two people, one with a clear erection, the other much smaller in only underwear, seemingly underage and surrounded by stuffed toys. This is clearly not about just liking colouring and playing with lego and the fact that those images are still up despite the hoo-ha, tells me that this isn't an accidental thing, its a deliberate attempt to shift boundaries. I'm also going to mention that the main account is supposedly child friendly and 'educational' but its retweeting explicit content from the alt one. I can't believe people are still defending this person.
Labelle seems to be celebrating Labelle's kink now that Labelle has had some positive attention for it. I also saw the picture with the erection and the little person surrounded by toys. Shudder.

We have to remember Labelle is a person who talks, writes and draws to kids.

And people are going on about how paying attention to this is transphobia? I'd like to reference a person who was banned from here and who talked a lot about safeguarding..

If that were true, it wouldn't have a massive sexual element, surely?

I appreciate that people who are trans, people who missed out on childhood due to disability, people who had traumatic childhoods might find comfort in drawing and colouring and having a stuffed animal and that's more than fine. But for Labelle, it's clearly highly sexualised. Labelle used photographs of actual babies as models for their sexual drawings. That is not ok.

Wrongsideofhistorymyarse · 25/02/2021 11:01

No more LARPing, Sophie?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/02/2021 09:30

Yep, there are now a whole section of Twitter saying that it's only TERFs and phobes who'd see anything wrong in doing what SL did

I wonder what various MPs might think if asked? Or, more to the point, how they might frame their thoughts in words.

Mumofgirlswholiketoplaywithmud · 25/02/2021 09:29

*acceptance

Mumofgirlswholiketoplaywithmud · 25/02/2021 09:28

@nauticant

They're seeing there's a wave of support (it might be illusory) and are attempting to ride it into safer waters. The safer waters being that people's instinctive responses get papered over with "oh, many people think this is OK and since I don't want to be transphobic maybe I should think that too".
This is so true. Stonewall really needs to come out and say that this has nothing to do with the LGBTQ community. That exeptance without exception does not equal accepting every kink into every area of life without boundaries. That when images of children are involved it is ok to consider safeguarding. Say something Stonewall.
