So a lesbian festival is not allowed to exclude trans women but a gay festival is allowed to exclude trans men

I think you've got the title wrong, the ban is against trans men.
I don't understand the title at all. Am I missing something? The linked thread is about camping facilities. A camp aimed at gay men has banned trans men and trans men are complaining vociferously about it.

For the avoidance of all doubt, my first paragraph was sarcastic. I feel I have to point that out nowadays because of all the bigots who seem to think it's a legitimate opinion.

Well, who do these homosexuals think they are to be so choosy about their sexual partners? It's completely bigoted for a gay man or a lesbian to reject someone simply because they are the opposite sex.

Tbh, that article is highly critical of the campsite that has said it is indeed for gay men only. Gay men are facing the same issues as lesbians. The power/threat dynamic is different, of course, but I'm sorry, no one should call themselves a decent sort if they try to make lesbians or gay men feel bad about saying no to the opposite sex. Every single excuse the people who do this have is an excuse for anti gay and anti lesbian bigotry.

Well it was just a matter of time before it came for the men. They're getting the backlash for it but can't see them caring in usual male style.
