I feel like she must some how be secretly gender critical. Could any one individual be said to be doing more to win over hearts and minds for the arguement for sex protected spaces than JY.

Though on a personal level, my boundaries do not include toilets (I would hapily share my facilities with Trans Women in the women's, or men in unisex toilets for that matter), it is not my place to tell other women where their boundaries should be. I think the Trans Women being unsafe in the men's loo arguement is bogus, because Trans Men use the men's loo by choice all the time, as far as I can tell the crime stats do not back up toilet attacks in the UK (that may be different elsewhere) and if you can self ID into any loo, then by default the men who would harm trans women in the men's will follow them into the women's. The arguement put forward that men will come into the loos anyway to attack if they want to, negates the arguement that trans women would be safer there. But all of it is nonsense. It's a social contract, backed up by the legislation in the event it is abused. Anyone can walk into any tolilet at any time but remove the legal protection and the social contract is gone. Truth is trans women do use women's toilets. Now, in the past and all the time, they shouldn't officially, but they do and it is tolerated, until it isn't. The whole TWAW mantra forces most people to be much less accepting of something that was already being tolerated, because when you shine a light on it, you just see so clearly all the nonsense.

If JY is indeed a sufferer of dysphoria, then JY is presumably ‚true trans‘ (if we’re going with dysphoria is the Definition of ‚True Trans‘). (Caveat: terms borrowed from above. I have no idea what is currently considered ‚correct‘ wording).

At which point we presumably say: ok, JY must be treated as a woman and can use the ladies, assuming we retain only male and female toilets (I favour third spaces in order to accommodate maximum rights).

What would we do with a woman who tweeted offensive pics, harassed others, or behaved in a threatening, racist or other ‚ist‘ manner?

We would use public order rules and legislation to constrain JYs behaviour. People would sue JY for harassment and obtain injunctions. Action may even include barring JY from public bathrooms. If JY continued, there may be mental health intervention needed. We have the tools to remove such woman’s and transwomen from spaces. The hard part would be getting the public authorities to use them.

I used to think so back when I thought TW were rare, generally gay and transsexual.
Now, definitely not. There are a lot of JYs out there.

I sincerely hope JY gets the help JY needs.

Then JY turns round and sues all those who went along with/affirmed.

It's all good. It's all making ordinary people sit up and take notice. I just feel terribly sorry for all those who are being abused by JY.
