What do you think of terms like “boss babe”, “mom-trepeneur” or “she-EO”

I saw this post shared on Reddit and got me thinking about the use of these terms. Totally agree with what she is saying.

Those daft terms seem to be mostly used by people on Facebook trying to flog MLM tat as far as I can see, and yes they are ridiculous and need to get in the sea.
Yep, terms used by women being exploited in MLM, tricked by the idea that it offers “female empowerment” when it’s the very opposite. I’m afraid this kind of language and trivialisation leaks into every day parlance along with memes of pastel coloured stationery and women sexily besuited, wearing big glasses (to denote intelligence yet availability). It’s depressing stuff that no “career man” and “boss hunk” will ever have to endure.

'Female doctor' is a factual description, the others are invented terms used to make women think running a business is cute and easy and not much different to browsing social media.

Do you think it’s similar to women being described as, for example, a “female doctor” or a “lady doctor” as opposed to a doctor?

I've only ever seen these these terms used by MLM recruiters/sellers.

I can't say I've ever seen them used by anyone who I'd consider to be a serious or successful business person, or used to describe someone who I'd consider to be a successful business person.
