What is "Girl Mode"

Wankers, literal and metaphorical, call grown women "girls"

'Girl mode' is definitely a sexually oriented term - suggestive of flirtatious coquetry and flamboyant emotional & gestural expression.
From someone who, maybe, is permanently conscious of how they are presenting at any one time. It is all about superficial observational presentations distilled into an art form.

I got a compliment from the CEO of my company but he called me a girl in the process. My reaction "I'm not a girl!" You could see all the senior people around me wince, but it was a natural reaction at 40! I look young, but still...

I have friends who invite "just the girls" but its not a phrase I use.

So e people I know use girly to mean shopping and beautifying activities but its not something I'd say.

I can't get my head around adults, male or female having "girl mode". I dont really have modes girl or otherwise.

At the moment my personal girl mode is my almost 60 year old body remembering it used to be a boxercise instructor and delivering a devastating left, right, knee combo to the face of the loud mouthed male twat uttering such poppycock!

I swear I flexed my knees, cracked my knuckles and ran through the strikes in my head... Eddie had best stay out of Gloucestershire!!!

As I understand , girl mode is grown men hanging around womens toilets and bravely squaring up to teenage girls

Never heard of it, heard lots of women talk about being with the girls which always seems a bit odd if you're all out of your teens. Being in your 50s and going out with the girls sounds a bit daft, why not just go out with your friends.

If any famous woman looked as rough as Eddie does in that photo upthread, she'd never work again.

For me, girl mode is choosing to dress in clothes that most women would burn (although it wouldn’t burn - it would melt), complete with letterbox red lipstick on their little letterbox mouths and giggling coquettishly.

It also means that they keep the jewels in case a lucrative job comes a calling and they need to switch back to boy mode sharpish.

It is also a chance to use the Emperor’s new pronouns.

One would wonder what kind of entertainment they watch to choose to be in girl mode rather than woman mode.

I think it's a type of transition which retains the option of slipping back into "boy mode", whenever it is financially beneficial to do so.

No man should be able to claim they are in "girl mode" unless it is also okay for people to claim they are in "[insert age] mode", [insert ethnic group] mode, [insert animal] mode, [insert level of beauty] mode, [insert level of intelligence] mode" etc etc and everyone around them applaud and unquestioningly accept them for whatever mode they claim to be in that day.
