Only half caught it (might rewatch later) but caught something in their song about "trans" and "J K Rowling"

leaving it there, as it's quite a mainstream show ....

Indeed. I think when other opportunities came along G+A focused more on their acting careers and saw the music as a side hustle.

Now that their (sometimes very) old stuff has taken off more there are a number of copycats, who's only schtick is being a very poor imitation of something two very talented women did in their spare time while breaking into Hollywood.

@Soontobe60 that is what I thought too. Also the using of the C word as the way to describe the year. Yup it was a bad year. But the worst possible thing we can think to say is a word used to describe female anatomy. When I start to think about it all, I think 2nd wave feminism failed to teach these young women how bad it can get. They are able to blithely dispense with feminism. They don't even realise they are doing it. I am not sure what the answer is, things will get rough again for women and the cycles will repeat. Sad that such potential intelligence is so limited, smug, and ultimately self sacrificing.

That's no surprise, Russell Howard is a total misogynist with a PC virtue signalling nice guy act. He's hugely pornsick, constantly joking about his favourite porn themes, in between making fun of his mum.

I guess Flo and Joan think our prisons should become more like Azkaban then, a mixed sex prison? God forbid someone cares about the privacy, safety and dignity of women and girls, especially working class, abused and vulnerable ones. That's an absurd hilarious concept to these self-centred posh women and Russell Howard.

I always thought he was an unfunny tosser. Happy to have it confirmed by someone who knows him.

Can't bear them 2 either. When they done that Nationwide xmas advert, I had to switch channels. It made me irrationally angry.

And as for this line - (The Karens all kicked off when they saw a statue shatter) - really? No men (of any age) said a word? So the implication is that women older than these two are racist as well as transphobic (the JK jibe). Misogynists, the pair of them.

But Santa is literally a female name in some countries. Besides Father Christmas I've never heard of a bloke called Santa (but I have met several nonfictional women with that name).

RH just isn't that funny, compared to most mainstream comedians around now.

I always found him way too shouty. I hate comedians who think bellowing their sentences make them hilarious.
